Miranda, Alessandra are pap whores. Barbara P got hired by VS to flirt with the Biebs. If you want to find reason why any of the VS models are "undeserving", you will but let's face it, VS will flock towards whatever will give them press and Kendall fits right in.

^ What kind of argument is that though? Those girls could still either way model and had talent. Heidi and Miranda already were getting hype without the need of their partners when they began with VS. If you guys are trying to defend Kendall by saying other models are expressionless then why do some of you obsess over Lais, Martha or Camille to name a few? They look pretty dead to me in their advertisements. Unlike Kendall, at least those names have had some job that literally made you look at them and go "Wow". Kendall's jobs are not ones she has worked for. It's well known she's gotten a lot of help through Katie Grand (Love Magazine editor and casting director), and Kanye (in the name of Givenchy). She has never actually earned a job on her own.

I'm not sure I agree with all of those... Miranda had already been working with VS for what, 2 years before she got with Orlando? I'm assuming you're referring to Adam with Behati, who I think is largely irrelevant in terms of her VS work as she was already a well established Angel (yeah ok if she gets the FB we can probably attribute some of that to her now being Mrs Levine) but she was with Jamie Strachan when she first started working with VS, and he's not such a huge deal that a model could get such a big job off the back of being his girlfriend, and with Barbara, I'd agree with you if they'd only used her in the show but they put her in the holiday commercial as well which seems like too big a deal to be just about that. Admittedly I don't really know what happened after that to make them drop her again...

Anyway, we've kind of gone off on a tangent here, haven't we? I've been trying to think of possible themes for this year... aside from the whole 50 shades thing it's hard to think of a theme that hasn't been used in some way shape or form already. I'd like to see a sort of 60's/festival theme, girls with flowers in their hair, bit of tie dye and distressed denim- I don't think they've done that yet have they?

Kendall is not going anywhere and she might even do the vsfs. Deal with it. I don't even like her and I can't wait for her and cara to disappear into obscurity like Agyness Deyn but some of you are just so thirsty.

And I'm gonna drop this because no matter what I say, epople are gonna be pissed at Kendall for no other reason than being pissed at her sister for being famous for being famous. But when you really think about it, none of these girl ever earned a job for any other reason than looking pretty fitting a certain aesthetics or being somewhat of a draw when it comes to press or having connections, which doesn't really make them that much more worthy of anything than Kendall.

Hi, I'm new here but I've been following BZ for a long time and I always enjoyed reading what you guys have to say about VSFS. 

The thing with Kendall is that she is so NOT HF, but still has all the right people pushing her in that direction. To each their own, but I find her so expressionless and boring in high fashion work, but perflectly marketable in commercial work. Hell, her PacSun pictures are probably my favorite of her's. Ideally, Kendall should have the same career as the likes of Nina Agdal/Irina Shayk where she does commercial work that is made to be sexy and/or pretty. She doesn't have the look to carry heavy make up and do intense editorials like say Cara D or Karlie Kloss.

 

Honestly, I think Kendall does indeed have the 'look' for VS (she carries the super glamorous, big hair, sexy make up look well), but what kills it is her media personality and the image of the Kardashians that she carries with her. As someone who has watched KUTWK, I find her to be a huge brat and disrespectful to her mother/family. It's hard to like her if you've seen her reality show, trust me.

 

One of the reasons I actually really like and push for Gigi Hadid is because she is so gosh darn likable. She's probably one of the most down to earth models I have ever met (which is saying a lot for someone who grew up rich and privileged in Hollywood). Lily Aldridge too.

Yeah, Gigi seems cool despite her family connections and money. Although she is not my type of a model, I like her. She seems truthful and natural, not a fake for sure.

VS should get Coldplay to perform at the show...."A Sky Full of Stars" would be perfect for a segment.
