To me- like Brooklyn she's definitely a...man's sort of model, in the traditional, yet timeless sort of way.   this is what we go to war for boys!:

 

 

 

IMO I think Charlotte is more of a mans model. Her face isn't super attractive to me, and I think Brookyln is much prettier, but whatever. I still say give Charlotte a shot for the bod

And I agree with Katch, Brooklyn's much better but to each his own.

Not sure if I would call her face "mannish" but it's just not very interesting to me. Which is not the same as calling it ugly.

In all honesty, I have some of the same issues with Genovieve now and Tori in the past.

I guess the best description would be a certain lack of expressiveness?

Well if she is indeed a prospect I don't see why she could not be discussed in this thread. Seems like the proper place for it.

I don't think she's a prospect and to my knowledge SI hasn't mentioned her. I think Cult just brought her up to get our opinions of her and is continuing to bring her up for whatever reason,

Overall, I consider last year's cast a flop.  The last strong SI issue were the ones with Bar and Brooklyn on the cover.  They had more established models in them that did well independent of SI.   I liked only 3 in the last issue- Natasha, Anne, and Marloes but the photography wasn't really that good.  Marloes is a good model but much better in other contexts other than this.  I grew up in the 1990s and was brainwashed accordingly.  Charlotte excites me due to her total package: sultry face, great bust, tall height, and her body being capable of that brain-damage inducing 3.14 pose that I have rarely seen since the 1990s went out of style.  I haven't seen this in years.  I have to say that I miss swimsuit models with proportions like Charlotte, Ashley Richardson and Eva H. (I know those aren't her SI photos but I had her other shoot handy at this moment):

 

 

 

Unfortunately, the casting for this year's models so far look like they are auditioning a commercial modeling gig with a full set of clothes rather than participating in an awesome swim shoot.   I haven't liked anyone so far.

 

Don't get me wrong, I love blondes and enjoy seeing them. Maybe I'm just getting older and it's all starting to blend together, but too many of the girls in SI are just "samey" and don't really stand out to me anymore. And while SI has been moving increasingly away from models with real street cred, they still tend to be too similar for me and not enough oomph. And my tastes range much more short and meaty than SI will probably ever choose... aside from the random athlete like Anastasia Ashley... despite the fact that SI is already quite removed from the rest of the fashion world (if you even consider them part of it anymore)

 

 

I think in time, she'll do more and better things.  I hope to see her model more lingerie like Chantelle or do 'Wildfox' type shoots.  I keep on 'feeling' that she's perfect for swim shoots and she will eventually show up in SI casting. Male intuition?

Cult, we get that you like this girl, but stop trying to make her happen. SI is not currently looking at her, we've all expressed an opinion for or against her and no one gives a shit anymore. Sure we're talking about "a potential swimwear" model, but really? If you like her this much go into her thread and gush. When bugs and spiders start to sound more interesting in the sports illustrated thread there's a problem.
