Except Where Have You Been was only a radio hit in the US and charted so high due to Billboard reworking its formula to up the weight of airplay. Its payola to sale ratio wasn't really all that great. We Found Love is her new signature hit and one of her best selling songs (beating out Disturbia and Umbrella). She even performed We Found Love instead of Where Have You Been) at the VMA in early September this year.

^But I believe she will probably be performing her most recent hit, that being where have you been........Though I like we found love, I think it would bebest to play her most current hit

Where Have You Been was a hit? I had no idea, i never heard the song that many times on the radio or the clubs Now, We Found Love was a massive hit everywhere. & since Katy Perry performed Hot'N'Cold/California Girls/Teenage Dream maybe we can expect her to do a mix with more than one song?

When are the castings going to be over? The show is like 10 days away & they still don't have a full cast, i thought they'd be ready by now

Fittings is, what? a week before the show?

Yeah. Castings always end shortly before the show. Last year they happened around Oct 26, fittings around Nov 2, filming on Nov 9, so we're a teensy bit late this year but nothing out of the ordinary.

I wonder how the hurricane is going to affect the show, obviously fittings and castings won't happen until NYC is clear from Sandy. I thought VS would get at least the casting ready before tomorrow because everyone knew that the hurricane was coming this week

^I actually don't mind if the date is going to be postponed because we ain't gonna see the show until dec 4th anyway. It surprises me a lot that it always takes them so long to edit the show.

Justin Bieber will 99% perform "beauty and the beat" but please no "Boyfriend" or "As long as you love me" - both songs have terrible beats to walk to but the deaf people in the VS team probably just think of the ratings anyway. So they don't care which song is appropiate for the runway and which ain't (that pisses me off). Same goes with "Diamonds" - so boring! And don't get me started on that Bruno Mars-song.... so boring... VS always knows how to mess up the show with its song choices :avada:

Okay-- getting down to the nitty gritty #vsfashionshow - the last day of casting and looks are being finalized - feel good but jazzed

I don't mind too if the fittings and the show itself are postponed. Yeah this year they are a bit late, but a thing like one or two days. But I'd prefer wait even a month if this means that they all are safe for these days, models, staff, and outfits.

^ completely agree! I'd rather see them postpone a few days than force it and ends up a total loss due to weather.
