TheBaronOfFratton Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 WAY more than I probably should have - oh, wasted days! Ones I definitely know I've seen all episodes: Twin Peaks (probably the first show I consciously set out to do so) 24 - because it's impossible not to once you're in Dexter Lost - and then I kind of wished I hadn't bothered! <_< As of now, I've watched all of The Walking Dead and American Horror Story - but I guess they haven't been running that long to warrant any sort of medal for sticking with them just yet! cherrybomb Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Yikes, my list will make me feel like I watch too much TV but here goes Boardwalk Empire Prison Break Friends Seinfeld The Office Modern Family Mad Men Desperate Housewives Gossip Girl 90210 (new) The Wonder Years The Killing Pretty Little Liars Arthur (Hell yeah!!!!!! love the aardvark) Damages Homeland Boy Meets World Arrested Development The Wire Goosebumps Quote
Joe > Average Posted March 25, 2012 Author Posted March 25, 2012 I haven't seen every episode of Arthur but I've got love for him too . I do have to add The Wire to the list though . That's definitely true about 24 and I have to add it to my list as a result . That's also true about one season shows not only because it doesn't require much devotion obviously but some shows can make some drastic downgrades after the first season it seems . I must admit though, not since my Saturday morning cartoon days have I seen every episode of a show during its actual air dates. Dowloading and recording have really allowed me to see a lot of things I would have missed otherwise. Quote
Michael* Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 This is the part where I admit to watching too much TV. Drama: 24 Mad Men Fringe Dexter (all the ones that have aired in the UK, anyway) Merlin Modern-day Doctor Who Sherlock Criminal Minds Bones Comedy: Various Alan Partridges Red Dwarf Flight of the Conchords The Mighty Boosh The IT Crowd Bored to Death Father Ted The Big Bang Theory Friends (not because I ever made a point of watching them all, it's simply impossible to avoid the endless reruns) I'm also currently nearing the end of Six Feet Under, having worked my through all but the last three episodes. A spotless evocation of a comic book. Then... Dowloading and recording have really allowed me to see a lot of things I would have missed otherwise.^God bless the box set! I forgot to add Californication that I've watched in it's entirety via this format. I've been watching Mad Men this way too. Quote

Joe > Average Posted March 26, 2012 Author Posted March 26, 2012 What in irony, I had forgotten that there was more than one season . Strangely enough, I had never heard of the comic book either I don't think. At least I assumed it was based on the comic concept, but didn't know there was a specific one. Quote

At least I assumed it was based on the comic concept, but didn't know there was a specific one.^Oh, no, it was written as a drama series first. Rather cleverly though they tied it into that world with spin-off comics using the artist responsible for (the character) Isaac's "work", filling in the story and background.I just meant that as a recreation of what a comic could look like on screen - it was perfect.
