Does Nick Jonas have a big fanbase? I haven't heard much of him outside of his Jonas Brothers days I thought he was an actor now. Is it big enough to draw in viewers as the only performer?

I can't F*cking believe they are willing to ruin and throw away the women who risked there careers to work with them over Instagram Followers.

He has quite a lot of followers on ig and his songs have quite a lot of views on youtube. I actually checked out some of his music last week and I was pleasantly surprised. I think that he may draw in a younger group of viewers??

I would think Stella is in the inbetween. Because she's still being used with VS and she has a good following on IG.

I think he acts and sings now. He's had a few songs that were popular on Top 40 radio. And like @freya said, he has a large social media (10M on Twitter, 5M on IG) following which VS is all about these days.

Regarding the most profitable new Angels, it seems to me that Sara is more popular outside of the US. In the US, I'd say Taylor and Elsa are at the top, but it seems as though Sara has some international pull. That's just my impression.

 

Apparently I'm the only one who doesn't care for Josephine. I guess she has a nice body, but you can't convince me she has a nice face. 

 

Then again, as I've said, Taylor is the only one I really see anything in. Elsa and Lais are next.  But lately I'm not even that big on Taylor. 

 

Oh, and Kate G. has grown on me, but she def has a mostly HF look. I won't be sad if VS cuts her - I don't think VS is the right place for her.

I've noticed Nick Jonas is everywhere lately. He was in a few episodes of the show Scream Queens...he had a popular song or two over the summer...he is all over social media...and I also saw him posing alongside Gigi and Kendall in a recent editorial in Vogue. So, for whatever reason, his PR team is pushing him into the spotlight right now. I think he was also on tour with Demi Lovato.

This is exactly how I feel about Jo.  

 

Elsa, Vita, and Lais did some jetski segment today, and Sara and Jo did one of those jetboot things the other day. I love these fillers. "Look at all the cool things we do in our off time at these amazing locations" when I know Romee stayed in bed and watched Netflix all day.  

He's also got a hit cable shot called Kingdom about UFC fighting and stuff so yeah he's everywhere. He's done well for himself stepping out of being the Jonas brothers. Of all these young singers I think he's decent. Give me the 90s any day but hey we are stuck with what we are stuck with

 

So if indeed filming is what it is for the swim special then things aren't looking good at all for Kate and Jac. Jac still got a good amount of time in the show though and she's shot recently with them. So it's a bit strange she isn't used. Kate well it's obvious about Kate. But you never know Jac still can show up on the last few days.

Jac was in it last year. I really think she staying with them for another year. But yeah I definitely see Kate leaving. Maybe Stella too.

I can see Jac leaving rather soon tho, she doesn't need dat VS press, i think for her it was a choice based on $ and the chance to chill   She already got what she could out of it, is not like VS will make her any bigger than what she is already and Jac doesn't seem to be the kind of girl who is dying for attention. I hope she doesn't leave because I absolutely love her, but tbh she and Kate are the only ones with good odds of surviving in the fashion world post-VS, they don't need VS.

Open your eyes honey the fashion world is in panic. Everyone is loosing money, but Karl Lagerfeld .

 

Gigi and Kendall are not models they're walking coupons for these companies to garner attention from media outlets to keep their names out there. *Vogue, Elle, Bazzar, Gabanna,  Max Mara, Elie Saab,  Estee Lauder (It's more their name then the money ), etc. 

 

Same thing goes for VS every year their ratings go down and hit a record low . This year they broke a record with a 30% viewership drop. They even got very small media coverage compared to usual. 

Their strategy ( which is out of this world retarded ) is to use the girls who will garner the most attention based on social media follows

Kim.K has 50 million followers and only 35,000 bought her book.

 

It's not a good strategy, but these companies including VS are so f*cking stupid they don't even realize that all they have to do is press the rewind button and go back to hiring models with faces and figures similar to  the 90's fashion era. 

 

YOU make the model not instagram. 

Gianni Versace made Naomi, Guess made Claudia,  and Vogue made Linda and all 3 of those names kept their companies alive. 

 

( Money came in the way though which is why we no longer have those models. ) Models demanded more and the designers got greedy and thought they could do better and even earn more money without them. 

 

Victoria's Secret never fell into that, but Sophia came a long and started hiring skinny size 0 High fashion models for a lingerie brand which is what turned the whole brand left for most adult viewer's.

Let me tell you if less people start to talk about them then that's less money and sponsors  for the companies. If there is less money and sponsors then that means budget cuts are made. Word gets around and you are no longer the " It label ".

Jac will do fabulous after VS drops her so I'm not scared for her, but Kate is new to the whole mega  high fashion scene. 

 

It's not good if people know you were so useless as a model for a brand that they signed and dropped you in less then a year even if the brand is VS. Chanel Iman was just starting to build a name for herself in the high fashion scene, but then VS dropped her and her career went south from then on there. I last saw her modeling for Forever 21. 

( At least she was in that Beyonce video  and also just worked with The Weeknd in a music video )

u mean good odds just Jac tho because of campaings and mags.... cause Kate just do runways shows and if im not wrong runway shows dont pay that much like campaigns , eds, chanel , or VS right?

VS will do fine. The thing with VS is that no matter what they are a global and well recognised brand. Honestly they could stop using social media and all of that and they'd still do fine. As a retailer people will still go into VS, buy and use their products. That's why they're so comfortable doing the same thing with their marketing, the way they promote girls, shows, catalog, shoots, commercials etc. Because they don't need to reinvent themselves to stay strong. They still sell and they still make money. But I hope that the loss of viewers helps them realise they need to change their tired old formula. I can guarantee you it won't. Because just based on what we've seen with the swim special it's going to be the same as last year. I can tell you now they lost ratings because people can predict everything VS are doing now.

 

We all pretty much guessed that Selena and the Weeknd will be performing this year from months ago. All of us were thinking it would be them, Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato, Ellie Goulding and look they're using Nick too. Obviously these people are in right now but it wasn't enough for people to tune in. Everyone knows what they're gonna show now. Why watch this years show because it'll be the same as last year or the last few years and it is.

 

VS really need to change up their commercials too. Same old thing they do everytime. At least this year they hired awesome new photographers who made the print and catalogs look different. That's one aspect of VS that is interesting right now.
