Modern Russian and Chinese war films have patriotic proproganda aspects that strongly resemble Soviet state films and 1950s-1960s American productions.

I mean, many modern day American war films are still like that too?

I think modern post-Vietnam American films- baring some exceptions- typically have a "war is hell/bad" sort of message to it.  The exceptions are typically more neutral than political.  Post-Saving Private Ryan you have the "gritty/dark" aspect being a must have.

By aspects I mean certain over-the-top aspects, like fighting to the last breath for the state and certain cinematic techniques.  Modern Russian films still approach filming battlefields in the manner of Soviet/ communist war art and illustrations.

It took me 3 hours, plus cleanup/shower,  to cut my hair and there's still some adjustments to be made.

Her name is Yasmine Ravel. A really talented model. Beautiful face and one very fine smile. Unfortunately, her thread was axed for some unknown reason (at least to me).... :/  That annoys me a little bit (but I feel like I've said that already, it's just another fruitless rant from me ).

She also writes songs BTW

What do you think of her?

Did she ask to have her thread removed or something?
