Congrats to Miss DC on winning the Miss USA crown.

Loved having my Thunder Buddy @PinkCouture keeping me company on Twitter through it all.

Super pumped that...now FORMER Miss USA Olivia Jordan....can get back to full time modeling. Whooooo

R.I.P to the 50 people dead in the Orlando Flordia shooting. Keep in your prayers the 53 wounded in the hospital fighting for their lives. This is just tragic.   We as a nation need to get a serious handle on gun control. How many more of these mass shootings have to happen?

+1  Unfortunately we are The Gun Country and our love for guns (on both side of the aisle) is quite deep & strong that I am not sure when will something significant on a legislative level would be done :/

This tweet always recirculates when tragedies like this happen, and unfortunately it rings very true.

So sad and upset for the lives lost, and the pain their families and friends must be feeling.

I am sick that literally NOTHING is getting done. NOTHING is happening. NOBODY is lobbying for change on either side, loosening or restricting gun laws. It's sickening that this is  just the norm.

I'm deeply saddened & sick at what happened in Orlando.

The US is severely disjointed and inefficient at the government level. At this point I think they'd argue over if 2+2 does or doesn't equal 4.

Most politicians don't do what's best for the country anymore; they're worried about their political career, power, and pleasing their money benefactors.

Labeling people and people labeling themselves has gotten out of control too imo.

I really do wonder if the US government could get themselves out of a wet paper bag.

In this particular case, it's not so much a gun issue as it is a failure in counterintelligence. He was a known quantity to the FBI and they failed to take him seriously. And this is the horrific consequence of that failure.

This must be some sort of record- so far it's 53 dead, 105 casualties total- by a single assailant.  Supposedly he cut down a third of the people there.

The logistics of this is astounding, how is that even possible unless he was using a belt-fed machinegun?  As news comes in, the details should make the situation clearer.  He must have executed some sort of trap.
