March 2, 20169 yr I had very good black tea in a restaurant and I asked what it was: http://www.republicoftea.com/black-tea/c/3/
March 10, 20169 yr Broke out Chrissy's cook book and made John's Butter Honey Chicken wings. They're great. Used a different hot sauce than she recommended and found the sauce not hot enough, so I dumped in some extra cayenne pepper. Roasted bok choy and zucchini in truffle oil and sea salt on the side.

March 11, 20169 yr A year ago exactly. It's just a leafy vegetable. It's used in a lot of Chinese cooking and I just really like it over other veggies.

March 12, 20169 yr @frenchkiki avoid the box sushi and just sit down at a sushi bar. Much better food, service, and most importantly freshness! Plus, you can have some warm sake to wash it all down with or miso soup, your choice
March 12, 20169 yr Oh you are talking to moi! I am the great sushi specialist I am making them myself sir The ones in the boxes are the same ones made in the restaurant (or bar) and I prefer eating my sushi at home so I can add the oils and soy sauce I want
March 12, 20169 yr ^ Now that is next level sashimi and sushi mastery there then What are your fav pieces to make?

It doesn't need to be a $10-50 meal (as it is presented in Europe and North America)when in reality it's just street food like a sandwich. I think what keeps people from making their own sushi are their problems in sourcing the ingredients. I have connections to a restaurant distributor so I can get them through this channel. But otherwise, people have to find a japanese (and sometimes Korean) grocer. Do you get your ingredients from a japanese grocer?
