TheBaronOfFratton Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 MEAT! We have the 8th largest country in the world, with only 40 million people living in it, half of them living in Buenos Aires. So, what do we fill the place with... Which we proceed to eat the whole damn lot of... ^ This is an asado, a collection of different cuts of beef (and pork) - and all the bits and pieces inside - cooked on a parrilla. This is a typical Sunday meal type of family thing, or a Saturday night. Friday nights too... Whilst during the week you simply go and have one from a restaurant instead: We have the highest consumption of red meat in the world... Woo-Hoo! Quote
TheBaronOfFratton Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 ^ And if all that doesn't kill us - we finish our meals by guzzling down dulce de leche; a thick, sweet caramel which is present in just about everything that doesn't contain meat (and a source of immense national pride)... Quote

Joe > Average Posted May 31, 2008 Author Posted May 31, 2008 Don't they boil them alive in hot grease ? There has to be a quicker way, right ? Quote
mbinebri Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 ^ Blue crabs you steam alive, and lobsters you plunge head first into boiling water, which kills them instantly. Quote
