Though when it comes to his (young) girlfriends some people would say of course he's abusing his power and status otherwise they wouldn't date him. Well, I get your point but in the interview he didn’t say Oh I’m against evil hollywood, the interviewer is the one who said that about him and he said that he’s against SOME of it and also said that’s the world that he’s in it so implicitly he’s adapted to it and then focused on the studios and them repeating the same concepts over and over again and we know that he doesn’t like that through his movies we notice that his choices of films are unique so I didn’t find that he said anything that contradicts himself or his actions. Same as when he was asked about the luxurious lifestyle of movie stars he said that if they are not hurting anyone it’s okay to do whatever you want , to be honest I don’t think the interviewer knows what’ she is saying because as we all know Leo is living a luxurious lifestyle “privete jets, planes, etc” which I think is totally fine and I’m not criticizing him what so ever but how come she doesn’t know that about him? To avoid sh!tty unprepared questions and to avoid backlash from sh!tty unprepared answers. Though I have to admit it were more her pushy manner than Leos answers which annoyed me BUT still... I got the feeling he took some credit here for something he didn't (fully) deserve. You love the fucking hollywood lifestyle? Fine. Just stand by it and don't use your charity work like an excuse. But beside from this he's delivering an public image he's not strictly living at in his own private life. Imagine we would all live like Leo. What would happen to earth? It would be destroyed (probably a long time ago) and no money and no charity could save us. So if he wants us to talk about things like this, if he wants us to re-think our actions and what we can do better to protect this earth, to fight against climate change, sorry but if he really wants that he has to accept being in focus for his own actions and sometimes being criticized for destroying this planet much more than you and I could ever do with our lifestyle compared to his lifestyle. And when he's not willing to re think and change his luxurious lifestyle with all the possibilities and privileges he has then why should anyone else do it with so much less??? It's the imbalance I want to point out between our 'normal' lifes and Leos 'oversized' life, our 'small' ressources and Leos 'big' ressources. That's what people bothering the most I think. It's not an easy just right and wrong with nothing in between topic I'm aware of it. At the end of the day there is probably as much 'against' as there is 'for' him. Source A movie with these two would be amazing! Leo is my favorite actor and Denzel is my mom's favorite. I think they are both brilliant actors--- Leo has a slight edge for me because I grew up in the 90s and who didn't love him back then? and I still love him now.
