June 16, 200816 yr Cool enough. The Lakers were able to send this series back to Boston. At least the series is more respectable now, instead of total dominance of one team over the other. I guess the Lakers can be like NOT IN OUR HOUSE!!!
June 18, 200816 yr sooo happy finally KG got ring, wow .....Celtics is Nba Champion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
June 18, 200816 yr He did deserve one , but... ...I never dreamed we'd be destroyed with everyone healthy . Congratulations Pinky . Congratulations ILoveAlessandra .
June 20, 200816 yr yay for the Celtics. Inside i wanted the Lakers to win but I kinda hate the way they play. Boston plays real basketball. Look for them to repeat next year.
June 21, 200816 yr Did you go to the parade, Pinky? Oh, and I thought you would have been rooting for your local boy, Matt. (Meaning Kobe's Lakers )

September 27, 200816 yr I'm ready too ! Only it seems like Shaq's career is coming to an end . I know he's a shadow of himself now, but he's my childhood basketball hero , now all I have left is Tim Duncan . Who will fill the void ?
September 27, 200816 yr Yeah...Dwight...I hope he can fill the Duncan void as Tim gets older...thanks . SUPERMAN!!!
October 3, 200816 yr Oh, c'mon!!! Only 5 posts since Jun, and 4 since July?? <_< Didn't nobody have to say anything during the olympics? Well, for all I know, it was a great tournament, and the final was amazing. Spain really put a great heart, and they were so close to win it all with the way things started in 4th, however there was a guy who made me proud that I'm a fan of him, taking the game over, and. . . YOU KNOW I CAN GO ON Besides enjoying Kobe, I really enjoyed watching D-Wade as well. He was back 100%, and had actually improved his range. Plus it was clear that he had missed basketball a lot, so this year I expect him to have a 30+ppg season. And with Marion and Beasley(even though I never watched him play), they are one of the main candidates in the East. Plus congratz to Matt. Dude, Elton Brand was exactly the player that Sixers needed the most. Playing Andre Miller, I bet he'll become the second most scoring big in the NBA (next to Amare, of course). I don't know exactly if this deal was possible, but I was expecting them to make a move for Ben Gordon. IMO Philly needs a guard who can create his own shot. But anyway, maybe he'd make them handicapped size wise, or not fit nicely with Iggy. Oh, and Kareem Rush is a great addition, to fill the spot of Korver as a 3pt threat. Mo Williams singed with Cavaliers, IMO another great addition. This year NBA won't be WNBA Western NBA like the last year. Now East has more than 2 teams. On the West, the only team with a major improvement is Houston, and partly NewOrleans, while Denver lost Camby, for. . . . . pretty much nothing. I'd say the only team that'll make the playoff's in the west from the teams who didn't last year, will be Portland, and most likely replacing the Nuggetts. Kobe skipped the surgery for another season, and Bynum is back. This year will be amazing. Kobe earning the scoring title, MVP trophy, and his 4th ring. Also records 72-10 regular season of Bulls'96, and 15-1 playoff of Lakers'01, are threatened big time. Can't wait for it to begin already. The only bad news for me was that Turiaf left. Man I love'd seeing Ronny as a laker, no matter was he playing or not. Ooh, and replying to Joe's question about the new Shaq, well maybe non of these bigs won't be as dominant as Shaq, but I'm really looking forward to see Bynum and Oden in action. Hopefully they'll be 100% healthy. P.S.: Can anyone tell me, does Oden have the right to win the rookie of the year award this season?
October 5, 200816 yr Good to see you . ...does Oden have the right to win the rookie of the year award this season? No . Ooh, and replying to Joe's question about the new Shaq, well maybe non of these bigs won't be as dominant as Shaq, but I'm really looking forward to see Bynum and Oden in action. Hopefully they'll be 100% healthy. Thanks . I hope they come 100% healthy too . The person to fill the Shaq void for me doesn't necessarily need someone dominant to fill the void (though it would be nice, obviously ). Shaq was just my favorite player when I first started watching basketball because I just found him exciting and funny, but as I learned more about the game, I started to appreciate and understand the dominance more. Center and power forward second is just my favorite to watch and I also relate to it better, I guess .
