PART I I've heard a song on the radio a long time ago (2002) on a dutch radio station (Q The Beat). The station is long gone, but I recorded the song - I will upload if I find the tape. I'm looking for the name of the artist and song, can anyone help me? I don't know the whole lyrics, but I'll add a part of it. And I'm not sure if the artist is known worldwide. I haven't heard anyone with these vocals before or since. Title: ? Either 'Bootie Call' or 'My Turn' or something like that. Artist: ? Male or group (both male and female vocals) Year: between 1996 and 2002 Country: England or USA Genre: Hip Hop, R&B or Pop Sounds like: Ginuwine meets 4 The Cause meets Nu Begin…

I was playing at my local music shop, and a guy asked me if I was playing Bucket Head... I just looked at him like he was stupid and said no...but that was becuase I had no clue who Bucket Head was... After a little research I realized that guy gave me one of the best compliments I have ever recieved. Gimme your thoughts on this freak with more talent in his little finger than van halen had in his whole body.

So, everyone has heard of Randy Rhodes. Everyone will agree he is the shit, and all his licks are extreamly well put together, fluid, faster than a kid gets food on his face, and darker than Allister Crowley's soul. Why you might ask? I heard once he sold his soul to satan... I don't know why, but I find that REALLY easy to believe... As satan was at one time the Angel of music, so why wouldn't he grant someone amazing musical talent for their soul? DISCUSS!

  6. http://www.entertainmentwise.com/news?id=15246 A woman who allegedly shot her husband of two months while dancing to Shania Twain music told a court yesterday that the gun has “just gone off.” Linda West explained to the Winchester court that she was trying to arouse her husband by dancing to the Canadian’s song ‘Man I Feel Like A Woman’ when she accidentally shot him in the chest. According to Metro newspaper, she said: “I’m holding the barrels of the gun and I’m dancing holding the gun. “I was entertaining my husband. Towards the end of the record, when the record finished, I ended up putting the gun down on the floor to the side of me. “It just went off. It just we…

I just picked up a copy of Kulcha Don's album, It's All About You from work at UMVD. I had never heard of him before but his album really appealed to me. Have any of you heard of him? He has been compared to Sean Paul and his album features Beenie Man. I have included a link of the single Drive You Crazy. Check it out and let me know if you like it. http://www.respectmanagement.com/kulchadon.htm

Paying little attention to the extreme death metal sounds their hometown was renowned for, the four natives of Gothenburg, Sweden, who formed Hardcore Superstar in 1998 drew upon melodic, glammed-up hard rock, especially the sleazy L.A. pop-metal sound of the '80s. Vocalist Jocke Berg, guitarist Silver Silver, bassist Martin Sandvik, and drummer Magnus Andreasson recorded an album titled It's Only Rock 'N' Roll and released it on their own label in 1998, attracting praise from Motorhead's Lemmy. After opening for Motorhead on a Scandinavian tour, Hardcore Superstar signed with Music for Nations and recorded their debut album, Bad Sneakers and a Pi

I recently started listening to Megadeth fairly heavily. Now, quite a long time ago I had gotten the album Youthanasia from the local library, and I really liked it. After that I always found some reason to keep putting off buying an album. Finally, this Christmas I used one of my gift cards to buy Rust In Peace. I was deeply impressed. I was expecting an album with a few good tracks, and a lot of filler. But it's really solid all the way through; sure, some tracks aren't as good as "Holy Wars...The Punishment Due" or "Hangar 18," but songs like "Poison Was The Cure" and "Lucretia," that aren't nearly as well known, are brilliant. Literally my only complaint with the alb…

It's been a year since one of the guitar greats was taken from this world. I, for one, was heavily into Pantera. Dimebag was one hell of a guitarist and I got to see him shred back in '96! One of the loudest concerts I've ever been to. Anyways, most people will remember this date because of John Lennon (RIP) but I will remember this day because of Dime. He had more of an impact on my life than Mr. Lennon did. And people shouldn't forget the people that tried to save Dime's life, only to end up as victims of a psychopath's rage. RIP Dime!!

I found this on the RateYourMusic forum. Investigating the 'death metal' murders These are the comments I left in the original thread they made there: Yes, secret messages about Bon Scott drinking too much. It seems to me that it has everything to do with a person's emotional maturity. If you like the extreme metal sound, more power to you, but when music starts to influence your philosophies, you're losing control. I'm really intrigued by people like Maynard James Keenan, but I don't follow him and his religious views blindly. I think some people just don't have discretion or caution. My biggest problem with articles like this is, they plant ideas in the head…

Have anyone here heard this band? I think they're awesome. They play slow, hypnotizing metal with prog elements. Very melancholic at times... I recommend them to you.
