Maybe they have forgone the two shows bit and everyone gets 1 chance like back in the early days? If something really bad happens, I guess they can edit footage from the dress rehearsal.

No it isnt the same thing.  Maybe in china only.  Rehearsal was yesterday.  First taping and the second taping are always with audience.  I guess china just want one show and one audience.  So the first taping became a ‘dressed rehearsal’

dress rehearsal is first taping this year, because the Arena is so big that can handle the whole audience. Rehearsal was yesterday.

I think this year they did the dress rehearsal as first show to record the details of the outfits, and now the second show with audience is for the general takes

Maybe because the seating arrangement is large enough to accommodate all the guests into a single show. I don't think it was a China thing ?!

Apparently the first taping or "dress rehearsal" (wtf) was in front of the press and the second will be in front of an audience and family members

Yeah ... Romme's boobs are too far apart tho. Josephine still got them done in a way where they resemble real boobs.

Well in China, you never know.  If a sunflower dress the reason why they banned katy, everything is possible.  China want one show one audience, its possible. And why empty first taping if the models need some cheer ups!
