Why would a magazine do something so dumb? Just boggles the mind. Same thing happened to Barbara Palvin recently, I don't recall if she ended up suing or not.

I was just gonna say the same thing... like were they planning to screw her over even as they signed the contract? Did they have it in mind to use nude photos of her regardless of what they agreed on or something? And if that was the case how hard is it to just get another model who's willing to do nudity? Or maybe they really wanted Sara because of how many IG followers she has... which they now probably regret btw

So wait Lui's did this to Barbara too? o.o wtf is wrong with the people who work for this magazine? I hope to god Sara sues the shit out of them.

It wasn't Lui, it was Love magazine.

They probably thought she'll keep quiet about it and move on hoping "not to burn bridges" in the industry. Common way of manipulating models. They make them put up with glorious amount of shit but models have to put up with it because they'll need more jobs. I'm absolutely certain this wasn't their first time.

Thing with Sara is that she has the money and from what I understand she has a rich boyfriend too, so she can't be bullied and can financially support her fight in the court. Many girls sadly cannot.

Question is now what will industry do? Probably nothing.

Pervs drunk on power just like Harvey Weinstein. I wouldn't be surprised if there were abuse cases (with lesser known models) too. And Bellemere has always had that creepy vibe about himself too. I don't care if he's defending Sara now, he took those photos even though she was protesting on set.

a creepy air? What do you mean exactly? I can not believe that about him, I have not felt anything strange in his photographs all this time although I may not have seen something that you or other people did ...

Yes, I have no trouble believing a magazine would do something like that to a no-name model. It's doing it to a very well known one which is the weird part. It's just asking for trouble in a really stupid way. Disgusting too, of course, but that applies to doing it to no-name models too.

That's a dangerous mindset.

Sara said herself that over the course of the shoot she was pressured to break her no nudity clause, and while I won't play games with libel, a photographer holds a great deal of power (some might say all of it) on a shoot. It's not out of the question that Bellemere played a greater role in this.

We've seen it before with Terry Richardson. We're seeing it with the Weinsteins. You have to step back and look at how VS has no on-call female photographers (if they do, correct me, I'd love to see their work) and a lot of their executives / John / whatever the fuck Ed is are male. Not accusing anyone of doing this, but that's a lot of men in power and a lot of beautiful young women, some of who are alone with nothing in a foreign country. Fill in the blanks yourself.

I hope she tears them limb from limb. One could even draw a revenge porn parallel here, and if you don't want to take it that far, there's still a delictual liability.

I've seen few behind the scenes photos that make him look pervy. Just a hunch, nothing more. And Sara's story about protesting on set also paints him very bad.

I just want someone to blow up fashion industry already. If there was ever a time to bury Terry Richardson it's now.

I am well aware of the power of men in this industry and what it takes for a young model to be subjected by adults in this job. What really surprises me is the case of Bellemere, not to take it as an example of a man or anything like that but among all the photographers, he has been the only one who has not given me a bad spine or made me feel uncomfortable, so it strikes me that he may be involved in such a case and obviously, I can not deny anything against a statement of the victim, in this case: Sara. Anyway, I hope this gets clearer for all and see the truth the matter, I do not believe at all that Sara is lying and I totally support her accusations.

Oh, I do not know those photos behind the scenes. I would like to see them if possible, I only follow in instagram and the few photos that I have seen of him with models have been those that he publishes

This times a thousand!

You're after my heart lately

Off topic, but is Elizabeth Sulcer still working with VS? They hired Sarah Gore Reeves recently and it looks like she's been doing most of their shoots lately. Not complaining much, though, Sarah seems better so far...

So whats the thing with Terry Richardson? And what happened to Barbara with LOVE magazine?

Btw i admire Sara for speaking out, most models dont do it.

of course she is right to sue and it is disgusting not to have respected Sara. I think it's a mistake to go into this kind of magazines if you do not want to do nude, in France we know that the obsession with this magazine is to put nude celebrities. But I agree Sarah is a victim and making a lawsuit at this magazine that I always hated is a good thing.

Yeah it is not okay. Glad Sara is suing them and speaking out. Hope more step forward. This Weinstein thing is sending shock waves through the industries because he was such a huge deal in Hollywood and now all the high ups might be shaking in their boots.
