OMG, no baby yet? I wanna see if I was right that it's a girl LOL I know this time she'll be back modeling sooner since she didn't gain that much weight this time.I also think this won't be her last pregnancy.Didn't she once say she wants a big family?

^ You're ALWAYS going to have hatters regardless of the model or fan base. Been a fan of hers since around 1999 and I've heard it all. Best not to acknowledge any of the bad commentary on any front, it simply feeds the TROLLS and HATTERS! But pushing all that aside, I'm ecstatic to hear Adriana's almost due. Whenever that day does come, I simply wish her a safe and healthy delivery and baby for that matter Seems like this is the longest pregnancy to me already...we've been at this since what...January/February?

Some people might have simply waited longer to announce it...

maybe she wasn't as far along as we thought she was prior to when she announced it. We had been speculating she was pregnant for a while, which makes the pregnancy seem even longer IMO

Nah, I think we were right going by what the media put out (her being 6 months at the IWC event in May), but the people giving birth before her probably popped early or she is overdue. But yes, we have been speculating for a long time which makes it seem like forever.

We were not speculating about how far was she, she said herself that she was having the baby in August .when she did the interview about Haiti. She should have the baby like any moment now, if we were wrong with the times we were wrong by just two weeks at the most

Lmao at the impatience in this thread. I can see why u guys can't wait. But If she's expecting the baby in August, then it's not a long pregnancy, given that in May she was 6 months along. I just hope she gets back into shape before the show. But hey, this woman has made her mark this year. I just respect how her modeling jobs outside the VS fence is quality over quantity. She could very well retire for the remaining of the year knowing that she has stolen every model's thunder this year, with the exception of Kate Upton. Two superbowl commercials, a highly talked-about pirelli calendar appearance, several editorials, visionare, etc. This woman becomes a trending topic at twitter for appearing in some Turkish commercial. The others could never! Who ever they are. She's the perfect example of how relevant/popular a model can be without branching out and having her own business.

Let's just all relax. Haha. she'll have that baby soon enough

i was thinking the same, i mean adriana is very popular because of her looks and easily passes the likes of heidi, gisele and tyra but they are more universally known becayse of their tv shows which don't want to be rude but keeps them in the news more, i respect gisele more that she is still modeling. adriana just needs more high profile gigs after vs finishes..

Well that's not an excuse, because we could also say actors are still in the news because of their movies.

Gisele doesn't have a tv show though, and I get that she's making more money now but I just miss when she used to be everywhere. Let's be honest, after she left VS, her star power died a little. She used to improve the sales of a magazine issue just by fronting the cover, after VS, her 2009 vanity fair and bazaar covers flopped really badly. I mean, I would know because I follow her career, and now it seems like Karolina and sell more copies of vogue brazil than she can.

Heidi officially stopped VS (and modeling?) in 2010, so she tried.

Tyra is still all about modeling so...

I agree that none of the models will be remembered say 25 years from now. The 90's models were bigger and any model today, but where are they today? No ones cares anymore. The only reason Kate and Naomi are still around is because they're working their butt off and their scandals in recent years didn't hurt their image too...

I do not want this to be rude, but Adriana really is a underwear model(despite the fact that she is 31 and she is about to have a second child, which yet I think is not so beautiful sounds), and how much she did not advertise other brands, other clothes, she will be always for all a underwear model of VS.

You're not being rude, Adriana is primarily a VS model. That's where she made her name and that's what she'll be recognized for more so than anything else. Where as models like Gisele, I don't think, or at least I hope no one would deny is more noticeably a high fashion model.

Not to say Adriana isn't, she's done her editorials...some of which are absolutely stunning (especially her earlier work) but she's known primarily for working with VS. Even within the industry.

Also, I didn't really notice until going through her editorials on Adrianalima fan net, but she hasn't done as much non VS work as I thought she had/was hoping to see. Kind of disappointing.
