I have no idea on Mia and Caroline pre-show because we didn't know they were on the Model Search.

Looking at this I can see Hailey got fucked by Ashley and her "I'm changing the world" crap, that Nina, Rose, Irina and Hannah F were the people's favorite because they improved the most without a cover or any extra PR such as VS, Maybelline or parading with their famous significant other in the past week, three out of five rookies seem to have flopped and Megan Williams should win the MS if her following is backing her. Oh and no one gives a shit about Kelly, Robyn, Erin and Kate B but I think we all knew that already :ninja:

Hailey getting screwed is the story here. Nobody is going to remember she was on this cover. It's to bad too because it's the best cover since Kate in my opinion.

Ashley cover have an small spot on the cover of People Mag i saw that Darcie baum liked the cover on instagram

That's one interpretation lol

While I don't think Ashley is changing the world I think it's a great thing for her and her career and she should enjoy the career boost. It's not her fault that she got that cover and Hailey got shafted because of it. Top news story so of course Ashley is getting all the attention. But Hailey will have a longer career with SI. I can't see Ashley lasting past two maybe three issues.

Asley 's story is gimmick.American always like blonde bombshell like hailey or gigi.Anyone notice hailey looke like rebecca stamos sister in tv special.

What It's Really Like to Be Naked and Body Painted forSports Illustrated's Swimsuit Issue. No body hair allowed.

This year's body painting stars are cover model and UFC fighter Ronda Rousey, along with tennis player Caroline Wozniacki and ski racer Lindsey Vonn. At last night's launch event in NYC for the new issue, three models who've had previous experience getting body painted described what the process is really like.

"[Getting body painted] was, uh, interesting," said Hannah Ferguson, who "wore" a fishnet swimsuit for the 2014 issue. "They basically told us to just make sure we were hairless. [My suit] was actually very intricate and diverse, so it took, like, 18 hours for them to paint it, and about five minutes to take off."

Samantha Hoopes also got painted in 2014, wearing a bikini made famous by Elle MacPherson in the '80s. Her prep was similar to Ferguson's: "I always shave every inch of my body, even my arms, my face, my back; I literally shave everything," Hoopes said.

Hoopes's suit wasn't as detailed as Ferguson's, but the process still took more than 16 hours. "They start with a white base, and then they go from there, and it turns into, literally, a legit suit. It's amazing," Hoopes said, praising Gair as a "god."

Even though she was naked for 16 hours with "everything spread, bent over, everything," Hoopes loved the process. "It was awesome."

Swimsuit issue veteran Irina Shayk got painted in 2011, when she was on the cover of the magazine.

"They painted me as a Turkish carpet," she said. "It was a 2 a.m. call time and they painted me for 13 hours."

Did she have to shave everything off before the shoot? "It was from the back," she said, and, "I'm not a hairy person. It's a little bit too much information, but you asked."

Thanks for the scans.

It looks like they prefered to stick to beach background, while in previous years, you had photos from pools or cities. Even if sometimes it looked a bit odd, the beach seems a bit repetitive. Overall, it is a nice issue though a little bit "safe".

It's crazy how popular Gigi has become. Girl knows how to play the game, can't knock her for that.

Who does everyone think will get the Julie Campbell Award in the coming years? I think the first Kathy, Christie, and Tyra in a random order. After, I could see Paulina  and Cheryl getting it followed by Rachel, Daniela, Rebecca, and Carol Alt. I think we have about 10 years before they'd get to any of the recent cover girls.

Looking at the body paint shots, Wozniacki's red "suit" looks strange. It looks like an anatomy body painting.

I think the real winner is MJ. She has 126k instagram followers atm. I think it's a lot more than a week ago. Haha

Which Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Cover Is Leading the Conversation on Social Media?
Sports Illustrated made history this week with the release of its annual Swimsuit edition cover—or, more accurately, covers. For the first time, the Time Inc. brand produced multiple covers—three, to be exact—for its top-selling issue of the year. Along with model Hailey Clauson, the other two covers feature Ashley Graham, the first size 16 model to be featured on the cover, and UFC star Ronda Rousey.

And considering Rousey's star power, it may not come as a surprise that the former bantamweight champion scored a knockout on social media. According to data from social media analytics firm NetBase provided to Adweek by digital marketing agency PM Digital, Rousey's cover accounted for 61 percent of the social conversation around the issue since the release of the covers Monday night. Rousey's cover attracted 154,879 mentions across Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Reddit, Instagram (hashtag mentions only for Instagram) and YouTube. That was nearly double the amount of mentions for Graham (86,090), who accounted for 34 percent of the total conversation. Clauson's cover only grabbed 5 percent of the conversation with 13,662 mentions.

NetBase also measured net sentiment, positive or negative feelings about a brand, finding that while Rousey's cover got the most chatter, more than half of it was negative (59 percent). For Graham, more than two-thirds (69 percent) was positive. Clauson got the most positive talk with 76 percent. "By featuring Ashley Graham on its cover and becoming a part of the growing social buzz around acceptance that all body types are beautiful, Sports Illustrated has already increased its average weekly social mentions by nearly 1,000 percent in just one week," said Toni Box, senior director of social media and content for PM Digital. "[SI] has increased its passion intensity, positive emotions associated with the brand, significantly."

While this is the first time Sports Illustrated has published separate covers for the swimsuit issue, it's not the first time multiple models were featured. In 1994, SI put Kathy Ireland, Elle Macpherson and Rachel Hunter on the cover. For its 50th anniversary edition in 2014, SI featured Nina Agdal, Lily Aldridge and Chrissy Teigen. The first SI swimsuit spread was a five-page supplement in January 1964. It became a stand-alone issue in 1997. The annual swimsuit edition makes up about 7 percent of SI's annual revenue, according to Forbes.
