Is Elsa's "wings" made of foam or some kind of sponge looking thing?

They look like they're made out of  Cotton candy

Feel free to correct or change, this is just what I've gathered from the look board.

In the history of the VSFS there has never been a model who's Opened and Closed a show, and I'm not sure I see Behati of all people being the trend starter, I mean it's possible, but highly improbable.

Also based on the wings that Behati is confirmed to be wearing, the shape almost look like picture #6 in the Gilded Angels section.

Although they look similar, I'm gonna say she is wearing these wings....

Notice the curves on the stomach and the pattern of the feathers match almost perfect in the second and third pic. The flash in the last pic is what's throwing everything off.

Number 6 is actually this look....

But I agree, I dont see Behati doing both this year

Not only that but I'm pretty sure someone mentioned this several pages back but didn't Doutzen say she had white feathers + gold wings? Which are probably these wings, and those look like the wings in the first picture (because none of the other wings have a blend of gold and white from what I can see.

 

The sketches didn't say whether they were opening looks or not, Lily Donaldson's Swarovski outfit is the sketch but she's not opening Fairy Tale. Nor is the Dream Girls sketch the opening look since on the board that is the look before Karlie, but the first Dream Girls pic is that pink fluffy wing thing. 

I think that wing is look 8 in Gilded.

The shape in that pic doesn't look like the opening pic to me, the wings need to be rounder.

The reason you see white in the first pic is because of the glare making the wings look partially white, like in this pic...

I don't think the outfits in the sketches are always exact to the what actually goes down the runway, are they? They could have intended the first set of wings, and then shifted things around during the fittings.

About Behati closing and opening, id love to be wrong on that one haha! Can we go back to believing the name on the closing outfit said Natasha? Haha

I just think Josephine's face wouldn't pass as easily as say Elsa or Doutzen, same goes to Bregje and Marloes who i love but I can see why VS doesn't cast her for the show even if she has an amazing body.

 

But honestly I hope no one gets a contract, we have nine girls, eight if Lindsay leaves and that's already a lot.

 

Though I agree with Dave on Josephine having LOTS of potential, I can see what you mean with Jojo´s face. It´s not very classically beautiful, but well, neither is Ale´s and neither was Gisele´s.

 

Josephine is intelligent, wise, well-spoken and has a lots of personality. She is a perfect role model for girls/young women and she has a lot to say. Plus her personality is embracing.

 

The line-up of Elsa, Jac, Sara and Josephine + possibly Taylor (who is drop-dead gorgeous) could be a strong one and has a potential to last and capture the attention of people. Sara is showing lots of personality lately (gotta love her for that ) but I guess it´s not happening tomorrow

 

Bregje is not only a little bit too edgy face-wise, but she´s also lacking the energy - she seems like a very tame girl, even in SI they described her as one of the most soft-spoken models they ever had. I would love her to become the catalogue and show regular though, her body is to die for.

 

And I really like that Elsa´s outfit. Even the "wings" lol

 

Honestly, looking at that line-up, I'm a bit disappointed again. There is so little variety in the body types.

Where are the equivalents of say, Laetitia or even Tyra in this current line-up?

Laetitia and Tyra are old news. This is 2014 not 1999. New times, new models.

People go on and on about VS not hiring girls similar to the girls they hired over 10 years ago. The industry has changed, let's live in the present.

They always put Elsa in these jackets. I wonder why? Must say, as much as I love her face, her body is nice, but her walk is not the best. Maybe she's been working on it. We'll see.

Also I got to see Nadine Leopold's walk and well it's clear to see why she wasn't cast. Stunning face and body, but a Boring walk.

The models I'm most excited to see are:

Kelly Gale (her body omg)

Natasha Poly (best walk in the biz)

Taylor Hill (very intriguing look)

Eniko Mihalik (love her presence)

Bregje Heinen (she's lovely and different)

Josephine (in a nicer outfit please)

And not so much

Daniela Braga because I dislike her personality, seems totally fake. Her walk is as bad as Jessica White at VS07. I think the worst walk in VS history was that Kylie person that won that competition to walk in the show in 09. Talk about a try-hard.

^^I think so but some are also saying is gonna be Lindsay. Nothing is confirmed so everything is just speculation. I think just about the only confirmed openers are Adriana/Ale in Exotic and Lily in Dream Girls. Everything else, there's a REALLY good chance of it happening buuut technically it's not official.
