March 12, 200619 yr being the girly girl you are i'm sure you fly to NYC every month to get the latest Jimmy Choo's :yuckky: I think the only brand name I have that I've actually heard of before is Arizona Company, and I don't think that's national, or international for that matter.
March 14, 200619 yr i'm predicting the new goodyear shoes to hit it big timejust me thoughtsthose kind of shoes were already 'in' in fall '04 in Italy.I use 'em all the time.. but they're different, no good year brand just adidas stripes.
March 19, 200619 yr Author there is a reason Uggs "Uggs" .. it's because they're UGLYoh and about the american/euro thing ... in Canada ... we follow what the American's did 2 years ago which the Euros did 2 years before that ... *sigh***
March 19, 200619 yr Author - in my case, clothing wise, I hate that everyone has a puma bag or shoes .. no offense, but if you have a pair - so does everyone else.. makes you feel special doesn't it!?i have a pair of pink puma speedcats. they're actually the only pair of sneakers i've ever spent more than 25 bucks on. no, it doesnt make me feel special. i like the way they look. pretty simple. i dont really care if millions of other people have them or not. it's never a good idea to assume that just because someone has something that's "IN" at the moment that they have it just for that reason. some trends i like, some trends i dont. i buy what i like whether it's in or not.I know what you mean ... I secretly like the puma shoes ... but everyone's wearing them. A fad that I actually do follow that everyone else does too are ballet flats. Generally speaking, I've always been a flat junky... just because I love pumps doesn't mean I actually wear them, i find them usually uncomfortable..
March 24, 200619 yr By far the worst trend is all the people pretending they don't follow trends. 90% of the time people who claim to not "care what anyone else thinks" are really deeply concerned about their image.I'm not saying any of you fall into this category, though... I didn't even read any of the other posts. I'm just stating my own observations.

But some trends just stick out like a sore thumb.

March 24, 200619 yr I don't follow many trends; I just buy what I think looks good on me and feels comfortable. Though several times I've bought something different/unusual that I thought looked nice and then a week or two later everyone was wearing it. The first time it happened was in secondary school. I started wearing a little bit of make-up under my eye at the corner, which most people didn't do. Then suddenly everyone was doing it and accusing me of being a sad trend-follower whom was copying them. <_< I doubt I am the one setting the trends, but it gets very annoying when it seems like everyone is copying you.
April 4, 200619 yr I don't like pointy toed flats. Not too into Uggs unless it's for winter or whatever. I dunno. Not to thrilled that apparently leggings are coming back. The 80s was one of the worst decades for fashion ever, let's leave that stuff alone, lol.
April 5, 200619 yr Author Why's wearing a white t considered gansta now? It never was before. I heard that in a song... is that why!?
April 5, 200619 yr Author .. Yeah, I partially agree with Britt87. I'm not really into the leggings... those just look really bad unless you have the right legs. Although I do think that the pointed flats are more practical. Are those even confortable? I haven't tried a pair. I've always been afraid that they would make my feet look too big for my body!
June 1, 200618 yr I REFUSE TO WEAR LEGGINGSespecially under pretty dresses. why ruin the look with ugly 3/4 LEGGINGS?!?!?ugh I can't wait for this trend to be over
June 2, 200618 yr Author they are not very pratical... I find they make everything look the same.. everyone has black leggings. I'm a girl and I rather see legs, and I'm sure that guys would agree.
