The reason people defended Ansari was because girl's story made zero sense. They basically had bad sex and she regretted it, that was all. She could've left at any time, he wasn't aggressive towards her or anything. It was just a bad date.
February 20, 20187 yr I haven’t really looked into that Ansari case but from what I understand, the story was first published on an obscure blog/website presumably after more credible outlets had turned it down.
