@radolgcDon't need to be speak ''the pathetic fashion industry'':huh:Work in the fashion world is beautiful and interesting.

Every industry is pathetic in my opinion. I have been a part of the fashion industry as a model and a photographer for many years and i know what it is very very well. Collecting the work of many models is my main hobby, so i pretty much know it all. I observed and know enough to make such statements and each of us has the right to have an opinion and express it. Just because you disagree or do not like it, it does not mean it can not be true.

Doutzen Kroes kisses husband Sunnery James before flaunting her figure in a skimpy bikini in Ibiza https://mol.im/a/12375709

Her face looks so old! She looks 45 years old...perhaps even 48.

From supermodel to trainwreck..the rise and fall of Doutzen. A very naive woman. I am still shocked how fast her career suddenly just ended.

She's always been thin but there's literally not an ounce of fat on her in these candids. I get the whole natural living thing, I try to do it myself (within reason) but I think she might be going a bit overboard with it. She's getting into emaciated territory here.

@Hollander I totally get it must be super disappointing to see who was once your fave (or one of your faves) model get pulled into anti-science/cult-ish spheres and then see her nuke her super successful career out of the sky with that BS. That said, looking at your latest comments it seems like it has boiled over into resentment towards her. Which I get, but I wonder how healthy that is.

Like, let's be honest here, this career was never going to last. The fact she got as far as she did is pretty remarkable. She's rich as fuck, can do whatever she wants basically, and for now that seems to be farm living and growing her own veggies and stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if she pulls a Brigitte Bardot and just completely withdraws from the public eye at some point.

I would also agree and try to not be too invested in her anymore. She has chosen her path and it is time to let her go.

That sounds pretty much like the Life. Nadja Auermann was evading taxes back in 2011 and she was already bloody rich and had one hell of a career. I don't doubt the same for models like Stephanie Seymour. They all have lived interesting lives outside of the modern slavery (or addictions -drugs,internet,etc) of this world and can now settle down peacefully, holding enough patrimony and disregarding completely the social game to live however they want.

When it comes down to it, Society is just one hell of a hierarchy, where you have people trying to become rich businessman and politicians, doctors or doing whatever the hell is on their capability to acquire money. Of course, some will become more spiritual enlightened than others through Art, Classical Literature, Education, etc.

All that really matters is your heritage and how badly you need money to hold power, sex, etc.

truly wise words @Dutroux;) Cheers mate!

She had the opportunity to have a timeless career like Carolyn Murphy because she is a timeless beauty with classic beauty face.

When she was a model she always scored major jobs every single year (Important covers, campaigns). She never had a single year without a Vogue cover/without campaigns.

After her manager Sarah Keller died..Doutzen just went from perfect role model with Angel looks and down to earth/Angel personality to the person she is now..DISLIKED by many people.

But her career was very impressive!

I will try to make a list of all her important work like Vogue covers, campaigns, shows (no pics).

Disliked by who? Can you describe the "many people" who do not like her and why? Many people are narrow-minded, fake, ignorant...many people dislike those who tell the truth and live their life the way they want with no fear, just like Doutzen. She is too smart to still want a career she no longer needs. Models of her status are millionaires even before they become famous, so NO, she needs no career in an industry she does not even like anymore. Her recent instagram photos are lovely and adorable. They show a healthy and happy individual who enjoys her life and has a great family.

Addressing the recent concerns and reports regarding a thread clean up, we want to assure everyone that appropriate actions have been taken. We have promptly removed the individual involved in inappropriate behavior from the forums and hidden their posts.

Regarding discussions and debates in the threads, as of now, we haven't found any reasons to warrant a thread cleaning. However, we would like to emphasize the importance of maintaining a civil and respectful atmosphere within the community. Engaging in respectful debates and discussions is encouraged, but any behavior that crosses the line into inappropriate or offensive territory will not be tolerated.

Oh, look.  She's still insanely pretty.  If I wanted an opinion on science, I'd ask a scientist, not a model.  Because most of them start their careers very young, few models complete much of an education, and they are otherwise no smarter on average than the general population, so their opinions on complex issues of science and social policy should not trouble anyone for long.  On the other hand, they can be extremely good at looking insanely pretty.  I'm content to go on appreciating Doutzen's talent for looking good, while ignoring whatever it is she says that gets people up tight.

Lol, what an ignorant opinion. Education is not a barometer for intellifence, wisdom or knowledge. Sience almost does not exist anymore and scientists are some of the most stupid people in the world. Wanting whatever opinion from another person is wrong. Finding the truth on your own is the only way. Big models are business women and they do need a lot of wisdom to keep a long career. Just because you are pretty and did not waste your time for education does not mean you can not be an expert in any science. I am amazed by most opinions being expressed here.
