May 12, 20196 yr ^ Cersei is actually a very interesting character. Her actions always have one goal in the end: protecting her children. She is one of the most consistent character in this respect (just like Ned/Jon who place honor above everything, or Tyrion who places peace above everything). She's quite hateful when it comes to people who are not her children and she protected a stupid fractious king (aka Joffrey) just because he was her son, that's why she's not popular as a character.... but Lena Headey is actually a very pretty actress (better when she's with black hair).

Cersei is motherly love taken to megalomaniac extremes in conditions of nearly unlimited power. (Happy Mother's Day!!). In the earlier seasons she has stated that she would have committed suicide if not for her children. I first saw Lena as the Queen in "300" and thought she was gorgeous. Lena's acting is extremely good throughout the show and is probably the best out of all the women:
May 13, 20196 yr Just watched the episode- overall 7 out of 10 -The episode was technically impressive and well made but pretty miserable to watch given the disturbing events that unfolded. A lot of eye-brow raising contrivances especially in the first 44 minutes but it suddenly gets hardcore for the last 25 minutes or so. I don't like how they are ending Game of Thrones but oh well, there's the past to reflect back on... -Mediocre dialogue and character interactions, par in course for the past two seasons. -SPOILERS WERE CORRECT, but probably added to the experience rather than detracted from it as it decreased the level of disappointment! I think a lot of people will dislike this two-part finale and find it too nasty. Euron was still a junk character and should have been written out. Jon Snow in Kings Landing: Spoiler Sad for seeing the Hound, one of my favorite characters go like that (I wanted him to live) but I guess that was better than nothing. -Jaime/Cersei death underwhelming. So Jaime's redemption arc was basically mostly for nothing in the end. Cersei has been quiet and one-dimensional all season. I was hoping to learn more from her character death. I believe this is the first time I have seen Cersei panic. -I like how Arya made it out of there. She finally got her white pony, alluded to in early seasons
May 13, 20196 yr OMFG The music was on point tonight. And there were lots of pretty shots tonight too. I’m sad for next week though.

May 13, 20196 yr ^Yes Spoiler Dany razing King's Landing, mass murdering civilians and soldiers AFTER they surrendered though.... + come to think of it, Varys' arc has never made much sense.

I like her voice and the way she plays with her tone. She's very sexy overall, but she plays a crazy character, so it can't make her popular. I don't know if she's the best actress though. I liked Michelle Fairley's acting (Catelyn Stark) a lot. It's too bad they didn't use the Lady Stoneheart plot in the series, that would've been interesting. Arya and Brienne are pretty good too.
