All my past fave girls did it and lost that modeling edge that I love from them VS is kindof a double edge sword for me I guess. On one hand, it gives more noteriety (and I do like to see what people will wear at the shows) but on the other hand its like it kindof strips some of them of their identity somehow I don't know ....Like when I saw Candice and Hetherton on the the "calling all Bombshells" thing WTH :| ???!!!! Its like they're trying to make them random blonde bimbos or something . i lost my interest on miranda kerr at first i though she was cute and adorable but now i think she looks like a 13-year old in lingerie which is very disturbing. but I avoid looking through her victoria's secret pictures now because Miranda's photos invokes child pornography. WHAT? dizzy . is there a thread about models you LOVE right now? :brows: Well, I did start a thread for the opposite "models you used to not like ect."... Recently I've lost interest in every model except for Tiiu Kuik I still like some models. However, not as much as I used to. Nowadays I usually only visit Tiiu's thread. No more Hana or Inguna? And its not because it sounds like the name of a 300lb striper with a Skittles Taste the Rainbow tatoo cascading down her back, "taste the rainbow big boy *drops it like its hot*"but I don't know...maybe it combined with the bombshells thing I don't know but it just.... :x :x :x ... <_< . It was literally over night I don't know why, but I just found her very bland, still pretty, but I don't watch what she does at all anymore Tori- I think she is still really beautiful, just not that versatile (still missed her in SI this year though) Margarita Senchilo- she is still so beautiful to me but I don't pay attention to anything she does anymore Alana Kuznetsova- pretty but I don't find her as great a model as I once did Chanel Iman- she is gorgeous, but the attitude really bothers me or she would probably be one of my favorites Caroline Ribeiro- used to find her so gorgeous. now I have had no clue what she does for like 3 years Jarah- gorgeous girl but kind of boring to me now edit forgot Erin.. wanted her to do VS so bad after seeing her in the casting video, loved her in the show..then I see her this year and her face does not match her body anymore to me. But now things have changed, she's been a mother for a couple years now and she doesn't seem to be doing any new exciting stuff... But I can't say, really, I'm not following the news. But, nonetheless, she was my favorite model and I still love her pictures from like, a decade ago (her prime, that is) I also used to like Eva Herzigova, but she's changed so much with time - lost too much weight, that is. And I'm definitely not into skinny models, so I just quit on her Oh, and how could I forget Pamela Anderson? I used to be f***in' crazy about her... But she's turned 40 some time ago and the bubble bursted... Well, I guess that nobody's time-proof (except Sean Connery). Her photoshoots from the late 90's are still incredible, though. Before I came to Bellazon I was a big fan, but when I came here and started getting the "most beautiful this" and "best body ever" that it was really hard to adjust to and then when she started winning everything kindof above and beyond. Like the best legs poll for example. Just blowing out Maria Sharapova and Stacy Keibler like they're cavewomen or something when obviously if she had their legs she'd be winning even more . The Laetitia and Adriana dominance was overbearing, but at least they had haters that vote against them no matter what to neutralize it a little, she did not have this so there was little relief. However, I only lost interrest for one day, after such time I decided she had nothing to do with it and is super nice, so I forgave these crimes and resumed my fandom . And it pains me to say so, but it's with Candice too... Now - don't get me wrong - I still think she has a phenomenal body, and is very pretty - but for me some 'spark' has gone. I was an early champion of Candice, and remain the majority poster in her thread (all thrillers, no fillers! ), since first seeing her in the 2007 VSFS - where her sashay down the runway completely bowled me over. I sought out all her previous editorials and shows to post, and was impressed. And seeing her interviewed only added to my adoration! I was also very happy to see her appear in the VS catalogues, and was excited for her greater exposure by appearing in these. This isn't some anti-VS diatribe (I love Behati's PINK work), but it was here that I did lose interest... I don't know, I wasn't that thrilled with her appearance in the following year's VSFS - despite having far more screen-time with her three outfits. And then the catalogue photos started to mount up to the detriment of any other work. I know she still does do editorials and catalogue work with other brands, but it all seems a bit safe and 'samey'. Maybe she was never going to be a HF queen, I certainly don't begrudge her her career choices (and of course there have been some great shoots since - plus she's just walked the Marc Bouwer show) but now I keep seeing that same VS smile, and those VS poses, repeated ad infinitum. I just compare her work now to those previous shows like Betsey Johnson and Rock & Republic and feel some 'edge' is missing. And where I once looked forward to her VS shots, I now find myself skipping past them to see other girls. She's still Candice though - and always gets my vote - but, yeah, uhmm... At first time she seemed to be beautiful for me, but after few months of affinity to her I realized that her attraction dissapeared. Then, Catrinel Menghia was my favorite model for 4-5 months, I adored her a lot. Afterwards, there were few models I got a kick out of, for example, Fernanda Prada, Fernanda Tovares, Wendy Dubbeld.
