August 25, 20159 yr No one's defending anything, people are just saying that models smoke, that's it, there's no need to make a big deal about it as it's not going to stop them. You may say it's a disgusting habit, or that you enjoy it, or whatever, and as a non-smoker myself I truly believe it's a bad habit. But as for the models, we can't really do much, can we? I'm glad you agree that it's a bad habit, I think most agree that's it's an unhealthy and highly unattractive trait. It's a shame so many (not all) high profile models choose to go down that road but I suspect the industry itself is as much to blame with the pressure to stay so thin. Not nice to see.

But if someone wants to smoke it's their business. Their body, their life etc. You might not like it but tough. Not your place to judge. And even if they are in the spotlight they should be free to do what they want.I liked that commercial with Behati and Candice. Would've been nice to have Lily in it as she hasn't featured in a commercial since the Very Sexy fragrance. And the 3 of them are the middle Angels. You've got the oldies with Adriana and Alessandra, the middles Candice, Behati and Lily and then the new crop. I agree, Lily should have been part of it since they are middles like you said.
August 25, 20159 yr Well they are dropping Alessandra after the show so the "older crop" will be reduced to just Adriana who is now under a Heidi-ish contract, meaning she'll only show up twice or thrice a year at best for the big stuff (Swim Special, Christmas stuff, VSFS and such). So I can see them dropping Lily too so they can promote Candice and Bee as the new "veterans" as they've done with Dri & Ale in the past years. Also most of the new girls were signed in February, and the Swim Special air in February so IMO the ones who doesn't make it to the Swim Special will definitely be cut just like Lindsay, Doutzen and Karlie.I suspected it was going to be hard for them to let Adri go, you're right, she will become a Heidi in that sense. Alle is great, but it's "Adriana Lima", and I don't think they are ready to let her go. Heidi was there since she was 36, I think they may keep Adriana until she becomes Heidi's departure age.
August 25, 20159 yr Lily probably wasn't included because they're phasing her out and are gearing up to make Candice and Behati the new Adri and Ale, like Clauds said. I wouldn't be surprised if Adriana sticks around as long or longer than Heidi tbh. Any guesses on who's going to make the swim special?
August 25, 20159 yr Taylor confirmed herself. I'd say Sara, Elsa, Candice, Bee, and Jasmine are in for sure. Lais and Martha are iffy for me- again I feel like they worked more before they were Angels. I doubt Kate will still be around, and Romee and Stella and Jac are maybes for me.

But the reality is VS costumers love her so VS wants her to stay and Adriana probably loves that easy VS money so it's a good deal for both parts even if some of us are ready for her to leave
