I'm siding with Monika on this to some good degree. I the same don't have any issues with Caitlyn's decision and more power to her for finally being in a place where she feels like herself. But the amount of media attention, stories, and recognition on the whole Bruce >>> Caitlyn transformation is quite tiresome and worthy of narcissism to the extreme end. The fact she has a show coming up really says a lot about the intense hunger for fame and success as Cult mentioned. I'm almost positive Jac is no "transphobia" but sometimes you have to call it for what it is and that's "fame whoring" for the sake of $$$ and not the cause alone. Although for Jac's own sake, I would use the proper pro-noun and name because that does come off as disrespectful.

Sent the story to the one who paid more, get a cover, being in the mouth of a large amount of people around the world. She went from being the father of "that ridiculous reality" to be a world hero. #thepowerofthemedia

June 7, 20159 yr The reason that this is getting so much coverage is because people are demanding it. Caitlyn is giving interviews and speaking out because it gives her a sense of control. She is, like it or not, a celebrity, and had she tried to transition quietly and privately, she would have been hounded and harassed. Hell, she was. Before she came out and confirmed her transition, magazines were photoshopping her onto different bodies and trying to spin false stories. The way she is handling it now is out of necessity. And maybe Jac wasn't intending to be malicious or disrespectful, but at the end of the day, she said something inappropriate, and was called out on it, and then didn't apologize for her mistake. There was no remorse.

Jac uses personal pronoun 'her' so I don't think it's the case of transphobia. I think that Jac is pointing out that world has gone mad with Kardashian clan obsession. And you can admit it or deny it but they are using every chance they get to be in the media. OK, Bruce has gone through his change and now is her, fine. But reality show in the works? Media falling on their knees over her? Come on now. She is also right about this Fat Jewish dude. All he does is posts other people's jokes on his Instagram account and now is some kind of celeb. The reason that this is getting so much coverage is because people are demanding it. I'm not buying into that logic. People are "demanding" it because bunch of PR people get in one room and agree what story they are going to push thought 5 TV stations, 10 magazines and 50 websites. That's how industry works. And all of you have witnessed which models people "demand" in recent SI and Maxim votes. It's a farce. People are being served what to consume.

I haven't seen anything on social media about them filming but I was thinking what if they shot during that time they filmed for the superbowl clip. Since they already had that pink drop and everything.
