I don't think smoking is a big deal at all, but can't deny the humor in this.

I don't think anyone is demonizing them for smoking, it's a brief moment of hypocrisy. It's not accusatory, just humorous. At least that's the way I took it.

What bugs me the most is their Pelotonia event. I mean, they "cycle against cancer" and yet get over-tan and smoke like chimneys? Gimme a break...

Arlenis is my favorite model and I see she doesn't get a lotta love on the VS board. Anyway I saw something interesting on Twitter on Friday. Her boyfriend (Donnie McGrath) tweeted this:

Attached to the tweet was a photo of the real Arlenis in a VS store standing in front of a picture of herself on display in the store. I'm hoping it means that she is an OFFICIAL Angel now!!! Hopefully it'll be confirmed soon.

I'm guessing that he probably meant that he was proud that she was being prominently feature, although I wouldn't be too surprised if she did end up contracted. VS seems to have fascination with Afro-Latinas.

I don't even bother with who's an angel and who isn't anymore. VS calls every Tom, Dick and Harry and Angel. But I guess the girls on the website are the more accurate angels, idk. I like Arlenis, and she'd be a great angel. I just hope they don't let Chanel go so she can have her place. She might have to dye her hair blonde if she's really serious about it. VS needs to get it together with this one black official angel thing. It a model is fantastic, forget the color of their skin, just make them an Angel.

Also, I get that almost all models smoke, but Miranda and Adriana still smoke? I don't think they do anymore. Especially Miranda, if she still does, calling her a hypocrite would be an understatement. And I think Gisele and Ale quit too, Candice looks like she's going to die from smoking in that pic. I don't get how all these models are stupid enough to poison their bodies on the inside so they can look good on the outside. It just makes my skin crawl, the thought of smoking.

Gisele quit smoking a long time ago and i think Miranda did too. I'm not sure about Adriana & Alessandra quitting completely but it doesn't look like they're smoking as much as they used to do though

I really do hope that Arlenis is an Angel. You may not care who is or isn't an angel, but there is some prestige, opportunities and $$$ attached to that title. I'm sure it matters a lot to Arlenis if she is given an Angel contract. I'm rooting for her.

I'm also sure that Arlenis isn't a smoker, so another plus for her!! :dance:

Lol. Ana yea, Hydrated is a better word. As I stated, smoking a just not good and I know water doesn't change that, but I can see why they have lovely skin. It's because of water, I know that as I like water myself.
