But Kate looks younger ( Obviously because she is haha) but I think that's what they like and adding that she has a very funny and outgoing personality VS seems like they would lap that up!! Plus VS being an American brand and all.. They actually don't have that many Americans! Erin just doesn't stand out to me in my opinion, plus she's way too thin.. There is room for her... Dee0902 Posted February 21, 2011 Share Posted February 21, 2011 Kate vs. Candice... Kate's body wins hands down! She's very womanly and curvacious, while I find Candice's body to be pretty unnatural. But I'm sorry to say I don't find Kate's face that memorable - especially in her video interviews. To me, she looks like a girl you'd find walking around the UCLA campus. Candice's face is money - big beautiful blue eyes and gorgeous lips. I've been a huge fan of Kate since before the SI publicity, but I gotta say - these Vegas pics and her dancing on stage with Ne-Yo are kind of turning me off. The way she poses super sexy on the red carpet, and is dancing around like a drunk college girl with scandalous pics of her obviously intoxicated at age 18...it's just not very classy. That's why Candice wins for me. Candice is so absolutely sweet and shy. Kate, more and more, is resembling a hot, drunk sorority girl. But she is gorgeous. She has that IT factor - everyone who's laid eyes on her instantly becomes enamoured. She's definitely going to be a household name and a dream for young guys everywhere. No doubt she'll be walking the VS runway come November, and be on the cover of SI one day. I just wish she would go back to her GUESS appeal - Sexy AND Classy. (Im sure that anyone who saw that last Live Chat agrees lol) Plus her body is to die for, she puts all the current VS girls to shame IMO ... & i agree, she reminds me a lot of Marisa Miller, she would fill that American Bombshell spot that has been empty since Marisa left, i think Kate would make a perfect Angel! If they are smart, with her VS + SI work they could create a new star a la Heidi/Marisa. But it is getting her attention.. you kinda need it if you wanna be a "brand name" in modeling.. people have to be interested in you and so far i think she's doing that really well. You should all be able to figure out which one that's for. Kate looked gorgeous in her videos, hopefully something like the Swimsuit portfolio that came out 2 years ago comes out for this one. So i guess they're having one this year too, or at least i hope so, those books are always better than the actual magazine As for Kate 'behaving' pornish/slutty/etc, im the same age as Kate & i do the same things with my friends, i really don't see the big deal with the pictures/videos ... I didn't realize there was a portfolio book last year, I'll take a look around and see if it's still available, though there were no real knockouts for me last year. This year I'd definitely like to see what else Kate can do... and possibly Esti. Izabel was a huge disappointment.. and I still have trouble looking beyond Alyssa's eyebrows. I will always love me some Candice but Kate has the body that the majority of woman want and men like. Her body is way better suited for VS then most if not all the girls they currently have. VS girls are getting way too skinny! Where have the Laetitia Casta's and Tyra Banks bodies gone? Kate has that hot/healthy look that VS is missing! She'd be a household name instantly if she got a contract. I disagree about her face. I think it's way above average, I think her hair is what made her not look so hot in The Rookie of the year vid. She doesn't seem to know yet the difference between sexy and sultry? She was acting like the young girl (she is) trying to look SEXy but that was a big fail and I kind of ridiculous! On public she should act like the cute, sexy, lovely & adorable girl she is on the SI videos because she really doesn't need to overdo "the sexy thing" when she is obviously a sensual girl. Yes Kate has a sexy healthy body and it would be nice if it could stay that way. If Kate got a big VS contract my bet she will have to lose a lot of weight and go to the "muscles" dark side of the force like Marissa, Candice, Adriana, etc. the times when models were able to say "no" (like Laetitia did) to the "U are gorgeous but u need to lose weight to be a VS angel" are over.
