August 26, 201113 yr Ribeye Is that mashed potato? I always make good mashed potato Could you finish all dishes? It seems a lot lol to me Hi Lyon, It is. I didn't have mashed potato with mine, though, I love good mash potatoes, for sure though My eating abilities are just modest- I'm rather lean so I'm not accustomed to eating much. My steak was just 8 oz., so it was quite manageable

September 4, 201113 yr Have to have a post about "Bread". 1. Steamed red bean bun 2. Crystal dumpling (YUM) 3. Go Believe (Sounds funny no? It's a very similar pronunciation to Chinese) Originally from Tianjin, literally it means dogs don't pay attention 4. Melting gold 5. Big chicken bun (One of my favourite) 6. Sesame bun 7. Glutinous rice bun
September 6, 201113 yr oh wonderful, Lyon My favorite is 6 and 7!! I used to live near a Chinatown and I've had everything on your list except the melted gold and #3. What's the "gold"!? I believe that all of these foods are classified as "Dim Sum", right?
September 6, 201113 yr wow, you've tried crystal dumpling before Ya you can say that they are all dim sum, and that "gold" is actually made with salted duck egg yolks and custard.
September 7, 201113 yr There's a dim sum restaurant that I enjoy Are Dim Sum restaurants like this in China? My favorites also include the Egg Tart: This bread (I just don't remember what it's called...^_^)
