OF COURSE! Just the way it needs to be said (for some reason) that a model is the daughter of this or that famous person and that it's all nepotism in order to imply they didn't deserve to walk the show. Generally speaking, it seems like they're not deserving of anything big. Speaking of "nepotism" - I really don't think Aiden Curtiss fits VS. But I'm quite sure she'll be in the PINK segment anyway. With so many models being cast, there's always one spot left for your own daughter I guess .

I find it quite random to see so many models going to the casting that have done the shows 3-4 years ago. So far there are a lot of fresh faces confirmed and I welcome a new generation. I got enough from Lily D, Izabel and all the other regulars. Happy to see Samille being confirmed. I thought she could do VS the first time I saw her. Who's this Daria Klyshtun-chick? I googled her and nothing popped out. I also don't like models being cast who are too unknown. LOVE the re-cast of Blanca. She look stunning in the photos going to casting. Actually the numbers of girls walking is like 30 something already? Is this going to be a show with 60 models or what??

vsholic.com seemed to have shut down. It was a great page several years ago and the only website to listen to all the runway music. However, the website was pretty dead for the past 2-3 years.... now it officially is. RIP.

I wonder if Victoria's Secret reads stuff on social media. When VS hired 10 Angels at a time, a lot of people's response was that Josephine Skriver should have been made one and eventually she became one. Now with Grace, a lot of people liked her in the show and now she's the new face of PINK. Who do you want to put on the map next?

I'm an old school fan of the Victoria's Secret Angels, so for me I still want them to have 5-6 Angels. My first choices to leave the Angel camp are Lily Aldridge, Martha Hunt and Stella Maxwell. In last year's show, Aldridge looked like as if it's (let's say) really time to go. I really don't get Martha and Stella as Angels. To fit the 5-6 number, I would have Behati and Candice stay as the new head Angels. Then keep Lais, Taylor, Elsa and Jasmine. And making Rachel the new Angel would be a huge mistake. She hasn't popped even a bit as a PINK spokesmodel and it would be so random to make her an Angel at this point since her career is really going nowhere.

I think the only reasonable place for the next show should be Milan - it's the only one of the four fashion capitals they haven't had the show at yet. PS: Thx for the compliments for my sketches

Starting from 2010, VS went loose and sorta threw Angel-contracts around like Oprah did with gifts on her show. I wished VS would have hired Irina Shayk and Bar Refaeli by that time. Both would have made an insanely sexy dream team.

hmm... the first fantasy bra was made before they had the Angel-concept. I don't think they would ever do it again since they have so many (too many) Angels to pick from nowadays. In 2002, they gave it to Karolina Kurkova before she was made an Angel though. So I guess never say never.

Interesting. Never heard any of those girls were offered Angel contracts. I only heard from Ana BB and Daria, but they chose L'Oréal and Lancome respectively. Ana BB was reportedly offered an Angel contract around the time when Ale became one. I wonder if they offered Ana BB a contract first and, after she turned it down, went for Ale instead. From your list, only Carmen makes sense. She was sorta wooed by VS considering she got to open and close the 1999 show. It seems to me that Oluchi could have easily been offered a contract, but back then when VS was super picky with whom to chose, I guess they never offered her one because her voice is too hollow to make a good spokesperson. I think you got confused with Edita. In 2011, she allegedly had to choose to either walk the VS show or the Versace for H&M show (both took place on the same day or around the same time) and she chose the latter one. She's one of my favorite models but she never really stood out to me when she did the VS show.

just watched the show. It was ok. The editing wasn't necessarily good. I know they always cut the walks, but it seemed more apparent to me with this show. No one really stood out to me this year. The mash-up was boring again. They only have one, so I wished they would put more damn effort into that one mash-up. They all sound the same from 2014 to now. At least, this year's show was better than last year's.

They could have tried even thousand times - that song still wouldn't fit the runway. I was wondering what was the point to get such a beautiful venue like the grand palais when they ended up making the stage look like the way it has for the last few years. Such a waste. I knew the opening segment would get some sort of racist allegations. I'm Asian and I don't feel offended. That segment just looks awfully costumey. I think my favorite segment this year will be "bright light Angels". I'm not a fan of "24k" but that song truly fitted the collection's idea like a glove which is rarely the case with VS these days. How pissed would I be, working months on the collections and seeing an ill-fitting song ruining the whole mood just because some idiot has no idea about choosing right songs.

Just went through some bunch of clips of the show and my favorite part is most definitely Adriana opening "Secret Angel". I don't really like "24k" but it seems like it has the best vibe of all segments. I hate it when slow songs are chosen for the runway. "Million reasons" was the worst choice since Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud". Bella looked dead as f**k. Keke also didn't make sense for the show. Her days as a relevant model are long over. She's such a random choice but from what I read she's friends with John Pfeiffer... THAT's what you call nepotism.
