I just watched the show and I have to say that I liked it. Never judge the show based on the poor quality clips recorded by the audience till you have seen the finished product. I should have known better not to but I fell for it again. 😖 The editing was quite good. The show's biggest problem is still the poor music choice. It's been done with a hit-or-miss manner for way too long. The Chainsmoker-song could have been mixed so much better. It built up and climaxed when Barbara Palvin walked just to fall flat with the breakdown when Ming walked. Shawn's "Lost in Japan" was perfect for the Mary K-segment. It has a bright and carefree feeling which made the collection more tolerable to look at. My absolute favorite is, without a doubt, "Celestial Angels". The intensity of the song and the smoke in the beginningof the segment when Lais entered the catwalk, followed by Candice, Taylor, Romee, Elsa and closed by Adriana who rocked the stage with the singer. Wow, that would have been a BEAUTIFUL WAY to start the show but I guess they wanted Adriana to close the show, so they put it last in order. PS: This is how the first segment ended. And now imagine them with lingerie on. Is this really what people wanna see, so they can "relate"????

At this point, the show is too much in danger to be sabotaged by these annoying SJWs. So let it rest and go on tour. But at first, half of the Angels need to be cut. There's no way to grab people's attention when you try to introduce 12 models to them at the same time. Release Josephine, Martha, Sara, Jasmine, Romee (I like her but I don't see Angel-material) and Stella (who I still don't get. She doesn't have the body to sell lingerie) from their Angel-contracts. Candice, Behati and Lily should headline the tour as they are the ones who would come the closest to what Heidi, Tyra and Gisele were to the first AAA-tour and hope that their fame will translate to Elsa, Lais (how can this hottie be so underrated??) and Taylor. What do you think?

It's not necessarily bright to call the VS show irrelevant by just looking at the ratings over the years. Less and less people bother to watch shows when they get aired because you can always go back to watch it on the internet. The show today could be of equal quality to the 2013/2014-shows and still wouldn't score a 9 million viewers-rating. Maybe 5-6 million but it didn't and that's when the declining quality of the show comes into play.

Ed and Monica have done some bad decisions for the brand in the past years (Ed even admitted to that in the "infamous" vogue interview) but this is probably the first time in years that I want both of them to stay. Ed expressed his opinion straight forward and we sadly live in a generation full of entitled pussies who can't deal with the word "no". His age shouldn't be blamed for refusing to succumb to this PC mess (under PC standards you are agephobic haha). A new mentality is not automatically a better mentality. A new CEO will come with the high risk of VS becoming a PC brand as well. People always say they will stop following VS once Adriana is gone. I will stop following VS when it becomes PC. *Looking at you Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue*

God forbid that he insists on hiring women, who are actually women, to represent the brand. When talking about that VS sells a fantasy, he gives a great point to strenghten his reluctance to hire trans because there's barely anyone who would think of the ideal fantasy woman to be trans or fat. Not everything is intolerance just because you're not included. That's a lesson that trans people have to learn. In the meantime, their self-proclaimed movement of love and acceptance is nothing more than a cringeworthy series of "Special treatment"-rants. It's hard to take them seriously when they do such disservice to their own community.

My first impression of the show were so underwhelming that I had nothing to say about it. Opening the show with a collection that pales in comparison to the Scottish-segment in 2006 already came with a lukewarm reception on my behalf. The pattern was painted on the fabric and the coloring is too pale which makes it look cheap. Instead of painting it, the patterns should have been embroidered. "Golden Angels" has a very weird theme. What theme is it to begin with? It looks like a (con)fusion of baroque fashion and today's fashion. Same thing with "Downtown Angels". What theme is it and what does it have to do with downtown? PINK is as bad as always but who would have thought that another segment could be even worse? Mary K, if I was the VSFS designer I would have fired you to present me such a mess and expect me to market it under my brand. Ed said that he was sceptical about her collection but later on changed his mind. He should have stuck to his gut feeling. "Flights of fantasy" was decent. Big thumbs up for "Celestial Angels" - great wings! Music? .... DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH! I would die to get the opportunity to revamp the show. That's what I have been doing with past shows. I either put my own spin on outfits of the show like this or I draw originals like to the segments like these: (1st for 2012's Angels in Bloom, 2nd for 2008's Dangerous and 3rd for 2012's circus) Now I am revamping the 2013 show and I will replace some segments with original segments, including a Zodiac segment, a bridal segment and a Magician's assistant segment.

Please tell me what was so bad about the things he said? Nothing. He expressed his opinion without sugar-coating anything. He was shading ThirdLove but the CEO of ThirdLove responded to it on IG like a petty little feminist bitch, calling the VS Angels "disgusting misogynist perception of women".

c'mon. As a VS fan, you will still watch the show but not with the same enthusiasm like before. I get it. We can only hope that Ed is not gonna succumb to the pressure of being politically correct. He doesn't seem to be a big fan of it according to this article https://www.vogue.com/article/victorias-secret-ed-razek-monica-mitro-interview and I really command him for not giving in to this PC mess. Although VS is not at its peak anymore, it's still the world's no.1 lingerie retailer and as the leader, you don't follow trends. You set trends.

About 10-15 years ago, the Angels have become that exclusively attached to the brand, that they started to look like "they only do VS. Nothing else". I guess VS wanted to proof a point that their spokesmodels indeed can do other stuff like high fashion. That's when the "VS meets high fashion"-trend started where the likes of Adriana, Alessandra and Doutzen resurfaced in the hf scene while models like Candice and Miranda, who had previously done next to no hf stuff, started doing hf. However, to fit in hf sample sizes, the VS Angels had to slim down and that's when models with bodies like Tyra or Heidi were never be found again on the VS runway.

we'll never know for sure if it's about the LOVE calendar or VS. I guess the only reason why people suspect that she was talking about VS is because it's a lingerie brand that she's known to model for and also because she's unfollowed Ed and some of the Angels on IG.

VS isn't giving 3 outfits to models anymore (since 2015), so they can cast even more models because the saying goes "more is more" (yep, sarcasm).

Adriana didn't confirm anything but a rep for her claims that she wasn't talking about VS. They respond to rumors in a diplomatic way, so it won't end in a heated discussion. That's what a PR agent does. DUH. Or do you really think anyone on Adriana's camp (not to mention Adriana herself) would say: "YES, I was referring to VS"? You don't do this in the entertainment industry in order to avoid the label "difficult to work with". The only thing one can resort to is subtle shade. Adriana's rep might say that she wasn't referring to VS but I still find it suspicious that she unfollowed Ed and some of the Angels on IG after that post. Adriana was a huge contribution to the success of VS but she already hit her prime and it would be much more graceful to leave on top (I think she should have left in 2013 at the latest) as supposed to holding on for dear life. We'll see what happens after the show.

Josephine probably has to wear the most hideous vsfs outfit ever. As a creative person, to see something like that really pisses me off because there are so many talented people out there who will never get the chance to have such a big platform as designing for the vs show to show their creative ideas. So whoever designed that outfit should be ashamed of themselves for not appreciating the opportunity that they've been given. On another note, I like Romee's outfit. The "Celestial Angel"-segment will definitely be something like 2010's "heavenly bodies"-outfit. I think it could be indeed a possibility that Adriana will get only one outfit. The "taking off clothes for an empty cause"-post must have been directed to VS. They probably agreed on that Adriana will stay till this year's show to give her a proper farewell but since she doesn't seem interested in the brand anymore, they ain't gonna waste two outfits on her.

Glad that Elsa got it but the fb looks so mediocre. It's rather a short, glittery top. No elaborate design. Too basic. Meh.

There's this on-rising attitude to believe that everyone needs to be represented but it only ends at an impasse. Diversity shouldn't mean everyone gets a free pass. I don't know what the point is to glamorize a skin condition. It's a disease. Who the hell wants that? This is not about representation. This is about society giving wayyyyy to much importance to physical appearance and the result is that so many people think that one's worth depends on one's physical appearance. What's beyond appauling is that instead of teaching young people that good looks don't automatically make you a better person, society desperately attempts to pretend that everyone is beautiful, so everyone can feel worthy. Duh!

duh, I never noticed that the Angels stood next to each other the exact way in the 2005 finale like in the 2003 finale. Alessandra definitely belongs to that era because I also think of this constellation when I think of VS Angels:

what a freaking mess is that? This must have been designed by Mary Katrantzou herself and she apparently neither knows that VS is a lingerie brand nor what makes a VS outfit a VS outfit. Wasn't a big fan of the VSxBalmain collection, not getting any reasons to like the VSxMaryKatrantzou collection either. I don't get how anyone can give this the green light.

I have never gotten Stella's appeal and I still don't think she fits VS. To me she looks like a skinny little girl. Next to girls with big presence like Adriana or Candice, she would fade into the background. And VS really needs to release some new information. The fact that you guys get stuck with shading Elsa on that one pic indicates there's nothing interesting to write about. I find it funny how people are excited about Behati walking like it's a surprise. She's not pregnant this year, so why wouldn't she??

Are you referring to the latest NYFW which wasn't even done by the time of your comment? Because it obviously takes more than just looking at this season (which just started) to know that the NA have much more freedom to do other jobs than former Angels.
