  1. I know people always bring this up, but Elisabeth Moss is an acting force of nature. I'm certain she'll be great, it's mainly Vince Vaughn that I'm iffy about. Would prefer to see Fukunaga direct at least a few of the new episodes, although I'd like to think that he’s already set the standards high enough. The framework he created in the first season was such that any new director would have to be stark raving mad to try and pull it up by the roots now. I really hope they think about introducing the villain earlier this time around, though. As much as I liked S1 as a whole, the ending seemed rather rushed and I left feeling strangely unsatisfied.
  2. Skye as an Inhuman would probably be the most likely of all the theories doing the rounds. I think I'd find it tough to get on board with tracing her parentage to an established Marvel character, just seems like a bit of a flawed proposition somehow. Plus, my inner nerd would be heartbroken if Yvonne Strahovski as Captain Marvel doesn't materialise. As a fan of both Yvonne and Carol, I couldn't think of a better match. But anyway, back to 'Agents'. I’d really like to know what’s next for Deathlok, because I enjoyed seeing him freed from Hydra's control. His character’s abilities seem impossible to ignore in season two, even if he only makes the occasional appearance. Also hoping that Ward doesn't return in any kind of 'good guy' capacity.

Black Cat steals the show at the Nou Camp, a headline I hope to see again one day! http://youtu.be/AdEbpYilNvA

When Sky decided to brand the whole occasion and fill it with irritating montages about how mad Jim was and about Harry hanging out of his car window, they succeeded only in squeezing every last drop of fun out of it. A mate of mine just sent me a text, saying he spotted Danny Welbeck at the Stadium of Light yesterday. You heard it here first!

  8. Nick Blood was great in 'Babylon', although the material he had to work with wasn't always the best. Will have to reserve judgement on Palicki for now as I can't really recall seeing any of her work, although I was aware of the aforementioned (and by all accounts, pretty lousy) Wonder Woman pilot. Happy to see Mockingbird being showcased though, makes me wonder if we'll be getting a Hawkeye episode or two in the near future. I hope so, Barton is a well-rounded character and Jeremy Renner hasn't really been given a chance to show that yet.

Stopped watching 'Bones' when S6 ended, until I launched myself into a catch up marathon in the Spring. I'm now about two thirds of the way through S9. Tend to agree that the show is somewhat past its prime (it peaked for me during the Gormogon and Gravedigger story arcs), but it's still very likeable and capable of pulling off the odd cracker. I think S10 will probably be the last, though. I don't mind, as long as we get a decent conclusion.

  12. Thread cleaned/posts moved, as we appear to be veering wildly off topic at the moment. Guys, although it's ok to express opinions and give constructive criticism, we ask that you please refrain from attacking, baiting, bashing and flaming. This is not limited to the models and celebrities featured at BZ, it also includes your fellow members. Also, for general gossip regarding Barbara, please direct your attention to the 'Anything about Barbara Palvin' topic instead of this one. If anyone would like to continue this discussion, feel free to contact me via PM. For now, let's get back to the topic at hand. Thanks for your cooperation.

Decent opening result on what's become something of a bogey ground for us in recent years. For better or worse, West Brom are likely to be one of our closet rivals this season and it’s important we pick up points from those around us. Completely agree with the comments made by Poyet after the game, the Sunderland of last season would have fallen apart after going behind. Any squad that's only two injuries away from having to play Roberge would be in urgent need of reinforcements, but that's been the case since the year dot anyway. Also, Lee Cattermole has scored more goals this season than the entire Newcastle squad. Long may it continue!

Cracking. I presume this was designed to create a touch of mystery and boost viewers, instead it makes poor old Garth look a complete pillock. And as we all know, he doesn't usually need much help in that department.

Say whatever you want about Tony Pulis, but... I'm sorry, I can't think of an ending to that sentence.

Truth be told, I've read a lot more about Rodwell than I can ever remember seeing. I suppose the hope is that he mirrors Tom Huddlestone at Hull last season, with a new start at a smaller club bringing about more consistent performances. If he cleans out Jack 'I've always been a Newcastle fan' Colback in this season's Tyne-Wear derby midfield scrum, he'll have paid for his transfer free numerous times over. Who knows, with a couple more decent additions our holy grail (10th place) could be within reach after all.
  22. Joss Whedon just announced on Twitter that filming for the movie has officially wrapped, celebrating the end of the shoot with this picture. Hopefully it won't be too long before we're treated to a trailer.
  23. Lovely updates everyone, thanks!
