  1. But we know next to nothing about Boba based on the original trilogy. Other than being a bounty hunter occasionally used by Darth Vader. So I don't know how people can claim they KNOW how he would act in this or that situation. Also, this is the problem with turning a cipher into a real character. He's no longer a faceless man in an armor.
  2. I never knew that Alyssa accused Cam Avery of abusive behavior? That's fucked up to hear and it's good she got far away from the dude if that's true!
  3. I'm different, I honestly don't care about that stuff. Like there is a Henry VIII show coming where Jodie Turner-Smith is going to play Anne Boleyn. I'm totally fine with that! But I also think this is something that has to work both ways! Thus people should also be okay with Gal Gadot playing Cleopatra. Cleopatra herself is a special case anyway, there is this absurd notion that she should be black - largely held by the black community - but her family was of Greek-Macedonian descent, so she almost certainly had the olive-skinned complexion of the people who still inhabit the Mediterranean area nowadays. There is no reason whatsoever to believe she was central-African in appearance. All of this stuff is bullshit anyway, about having some claim to historical figures, as if sharing a skin color with one is truly meaningful?
  4. I think the Boba Fett show is okay. But it shows the obvious problems with having (too many) spin-offs from Mando. I don't think the material is necessarily rich enough to support five or six separate spin-offs. And we are almost certainly getting more of them, apart from just Boba & the Ahsoka one. Specifically speaking about Boba Fett, this was a character who was essentially a cipher for the longest amount of time. A voiceless bounty hunter who people primarily liked because he looked cool. Which means that they could believe whatever they wanted to believe about him. But now that they are devoting an entire show to him, they have to make certain choices about him. And those choices will not conform with how some people have chosen to see a character, which is now already 41 years old. I also think the things that people are getting annoyed at are weird. e.g. like the futuristic vespas that the cyborg kids ride. I'm fine with them adding new vehicles.
  5. Those are still her hottest shoots. It's weird she hasn't really done any similar work since then?
  6. But Ciri being played by a white actress, so what is the problem? I think Anna Shaffer is of South-American descent originally and Anya Chalotra has an Indian father. In any case, their races never really featured into how much I liked or disliked them. I thought Anna Shaffer's acting in season one was very lightweight. But she improved in season two. And Anya Chalotra definitely won me over after doubting her.
  7. As-tu regardé "Emily in Paris"? Beaucoup de Français ont écrit des critiques super sarcastiques de la vision américaine de la France et de Paris. Je n'ai pas été surpris d'apprendre que bon nombre des mêmes personnes de SATC étaient responsables de l'idiotie.
  8. I like Jennifer Holland too! But I didn't know until now that she was married to James Gunn.
  9. It's weird we haven't seen either of those shoots already!
  10. Honestly I no longer have any clue what their process is other than "MJ going woke". Certainly they have missed some great and obvious opportunities over the years.
  11. No can't say I ever played that game!
  12. Her boyfriend 100% sold his soul to some demon at a crossroads. 😛
  13. Sarah dancing!
  14. Sarah is always 🔥 🔥 🔥 for HB! It's like they designed her in a lab to be their perfect model!
  15. It is listed in the general notice, everything posted after December 21st was lost.
  16. Source: Guess This is some of the Emily stuff from Guess that I knew I posted in the period we lost, but if I missed anything, please let me know!
  17. I agree about the make-up, it's also an issue for me with Bregje Heinen with her Oh Polly shoots. However, I do appreciate that OP's styling is a tiny bit more pronounced in general. I find many other such companies' shoots rather bland and interchangeable.
  18. She looks great in the Oh Polly shots! Hoping she gets to do some more work for them.
  19. Steph Rayner? Don't think I saw that shot before.
  20. This might be my favorite HB shoot of hers. That color really pops on her.
  21. Unfortunately this is true and it applies to many great, classic films.
  22. Source: Guess I have to say that Emily might be my favorite model right now!
  23. The Last Duel is less a MeToo movie and more Ridley Scott making his version of Rashomon. Only I'm not sure if I'm interested in seeing Rashomon starring Affleck and Damon?
