  1. LOL! When have I defended CNN? I don't even remember ever mentioning CNN in any discussion. I never watch CNN. Probably haven't in over twenty years. For someone who gets so mad about people putting words in your mouth, you seem pretty cavalier about doing it yourself. And not caring about the whole drama about race swapping and gender swapping isn't the same as "rejoicing". I just don't give a single fuck about it. I have better things to do with my time.
  2. Europe will suffer because Putin used gas supply as a way to blackmail us into submission. He had already reduced the flow to a trickle of its previous volumes long before the pipeline was blown up. The reason why the market reaction to the pipeline destruction wasn't much more vast was precisely because so little gas was still moving across them anyway.
  3. So we agree, dirty influence money from authoritarian regimes pouring into democracies is bad for those democracies. The only thing I don't get is why I should be any more or less worried about Russian money than Chinese or Saudi money (to give just two of your examples).
  4. LOL. You accuse me of putting words in your mouth and then I get this kind of bullshit in return. Thanks.
  5. If Russia win they will continue with large scale war crimes and de facto acts of genocide, how is that good for anyone? And why would anyone assume that Putin would be content with just Ukraine or some chunks of Ukraine?
  6. I agree we should not rely on Azeri oil. The problem is that beggars cannot be choosers. Ideally Europe as a whole turns away from fossil fuels as quickly as possible. Then we do not have to deal with any of the horrible regimes, whether they are Russia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Saudi-Arabia, ... As for European defense, most countries have expanded their defense budget already. But it will take time for those investments to make a difference, at least a few years. So it's not something that will have an impact on this current situation, either way. I'm talking about stuff that can impact the war effort right now and that Europe could conceivably do differently.
  7. Putin has already invaded Belgium, there are clear money ties between some Belgian political parties and Russian sources. If Ukraine falls, the consequences for all of Europe will be substantial. The idea that we go back to business as usual after that is a fantasy. It's not a choice between Biden or Putin for me, it's a choice between Europe living under the influence of Putin (and whoever comes after him) or one free of it. We have already lived with a hostile U.S. president for four years and we have survived that, so I'm not worried about that. But we haven't yet dealt with a truly unleashed Putin who is determined to harm the EU.
  8. Explain to me how it is good for Europe if Putin wins this war. I'll wait.
  9. All this proves to me is the success of Putin's propaganda in much of the West that he has so many people arguing against their own interests. I think many of those folks would find it very interesting to live under the rule of such a leader for a few months.
  10. And why did they feel the need to do this after 2014? The response to the illegal annexation of Crimea should have been doing nothing to prevent further Russian aggression? I don't understand the confusion about Europe not craving to find itself under Putin's boot. Well, even more than it already is. This isn't a fucking game if you actually live here.
  11. Europe is already giving about as much as it can. Well, apart from Germany and France, who could probably do more. But the likes of the Baltics, Poland, ... have probably already delivered more of their own equipment than was wise and the UK has helped out a lot with both equipment and training from day one (as well as intelligence sharing). Almost every EU memberstate has boosted its defense budget but it will take a couple of years at least before this better funding translates into better equipped troops/large militaries.
  12. So tell me, how exactly should Europe be handling this instead?
  13. Putin is the one who invaded a sovereign country. If NATO made one mistake, it was not to do anything when he took Crimea in 2014. Honestly I am not going to both-sides a conflict in which one side is using the UN charter to wipe his ass with.
  14. It's Ukrainian propaganda to question whether Russia would want to yield some of the terrain they had wasted men and equipment taking? It's pretty clear from everything (like their failure to secure enough winter uniforms for their new recruits) that Russia's supposed vast stores of military supplies are wildly overestimated.
  15. So losing the territory they captured is part of their strategy, as is throwing recruits into the battle without training? Okay! I'm still waiting to see their 10000 battle tank reserve in action!
  16. NATO has already said it won't respond with a nuclear strike even if Russia deploys tactical nukes, so I don't get why people always want to lay the blame with NATO for everything. They will respond with a wide-scale conventional response, which would be completely warranted if Russia does escalate all the way to the use of nuclear weapons.
  17. Is she still with Tyler Hoechlin?
  18. His attempt at "diplomacy" followed by threatening to pull Starlink from Ukraine after it predictable got strong negative reaction from Ukraine. His child-like temperament is fine when he is just using it to pump and dump stocks or just act like a garden variety troll on twitter but this is fucking war, one which will likely determine the future of all of Europe.
  19. Depends on the kind of deal she has with him. It might have financial implications for her if she cuts ties right now.
  20. Elon Musk is a moron who is ready to sell out Europe for his own small self-interests. This shit isn't funny if you actually live here.
  21. It's really jarring to see these VS shots after that Cameron Hammond shoot. You have a model that can look hotter than the surface of the sun if you style and shoot her properly and instead VS just gives us more of the white wall treatment.
  22. This is just one example: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11308667/MAUREEN-CALLAHAN-Ew-Heidi-Incest-DOESNT-sell-Pornified-shoot-disturbing-cringe-worthy.html I agree that it's dumb, people who don't know the Klum family probably won't even know they are mother and daughter, as you say. Also unless there are shots of that shoot I haven't seen, it's all pretty innocent and wholesome. Like what is the big deal about shots like this?
  23. This is a very Cindy-like shot and a Cindy pose.
