  1. Not sure how you even enforce such a thing, unless you have cameras all over the place.
  2. I never interpreted this as "mercy" from the Predator. He is a hunter who likes to go up against dangerous prey. But I think he did not kill her because she was pregnant, the same way a human hunter might spare a pregnant doe.
  3. I have rewatched some classic GoT scenes on YT earlier this week and it really lays bare my problems with House of the Dragon. They are just utterly without charm and fun. Like just say Arya and the Hound's walkabout through the Seven Kingdoms. There is nothing like that in House and it's also not clear where it could come from, with the characters we have currently been introduced to.
  4. Predator II was rather poorly received by critics. I thought it was okay at the time, but not nearly as good as the original film. Anyway, they changed Galadriel's backstory to fit her into their narrative. I can see Tolkien purists hating that. What I cannot get is them accusing her of being a Mary Sue when she is canonically like top three or top four most powerful character in the original trilogy. You cannot at the same time insist that Tolkien's vision is respected and then complain that Galadriel is too powerful or skilled. On the subject of changes being made from Tolkien, if the Stranger who landed with the Harfoots is either meant to be Gandalf or one of the Blue Wizards, then that would mean they are messing majorly with the time line there too.
  5. Damn girl!
  6. It's now been years since her breast reduction surgery but still not used to her new look.
  7. Huh, Kristen doesn't really seem to defend Leo. She's not attacking him either. She mostly seems to argue against the notion that women lose their value over the age of 25.
  8. So who else is in that clique? I think Scarlett Leithold too? And Lily Easton?
  9. Love the shoot, but let Hannah smile a bit more often!
  10. Is she pals with the Herbert sisters?

  12. @Cult Icon Do you like Disha Patani?
  13. He cannot be Gandalf according to the time line. It's too early for Gandalf's appearance. But they have changed a lot already. So it's possible.
  14. The main issue I have with Rings is that so many of the story lines leave me indifferent. I really only care about Galadriel's story and to a slightly lesser degree Arondir and Bronwyn. The rest are pretty underwhelming up to this point. Unless the revelation of the Stranger's identity makes the Harfoots story a lot more interesting.
  15. I don't really like it so far. I hope it improves. I loved the original show (until the final season and a half kind of ruined it a bit). So far House of the Dragon hasn't gotten close to even average Game of Thrones episodes for me. Let alone some of the better/best ones.
  16. I like Rings better than House of the Dragon so far. House of the Dragon is like the most boring version of Game of Thrones. Imagine Game of Thrones but none of the fun/funny characters are there. So no Tyrion, Bronn, Pod, Jaime, Tormund, ... And then make it another ten percent more boring. The cast is also pretty forgettable, other than Paddy Considine (who does do a good job playing Viserys). I don't get how this could have happened. GRRM is closely involved and he does have a sense of humor. Certainly his main book series is a lot funnier than this stuff. I don't think casual fantasy fans (like those Game of Thrones attracted in droves) are going to keep on watching such a serious and dour affair. Not that I think Rings is a perfect show. It's also pretty flawed, but two episodes in it has kept my attention more than House of the Dragon.
  17. It is canon that Galadriel single-handedly tears down Dol Guldur. Yet she is being called a Mary Sue for defeating a troll. They have changed he character from the books though, but not in terms of power level. Galadriel should be busy founding her own kingdom at this point in the time line (roughly speaking), not still chasing Sauron. But I guess they did this because they really wanted to have her as a character on the show.
  18. Nathalya Cabral and Lily Easton would be my contributions to the list.
  19. She does have an amazing figure.
  20. Shots fired! I EmRata.
  21. Little Miss Dreamboat!
  22. Some of the dumbest pop culture criticism I have ever heard/read came after the first two episodes of this dropped. I am talking about the accusation of Galadriel being a Mary Sue. Galadriel! In the originally trilogy, she is canonically the third most powerful character (after Sauron and Gandalf). Fourth at worst, depending on how you feel about Tom Bombadil (who is deemed by some as the most powerful being in Middle Earth because of how easily he resists the One Ring's powers but he plays no active role in the events of those books so it's rather moot as a point). Calling Galadriel a Mary Sue is showing your entire ass and proving you have zero familiarity with the source text. Also if you want to argue she's too overpowered for an elf, I guess you should take that up with Tolkien himself.
  23. @Cult Icon Do you know her? Her content is 100% cheesecake. She does have amazing legs though.
  24. So is Dioni back or is it just a one-time thing? Valerie's message seems to suggest she is just doing this one shoot.
