Loved episode four too. I think it's my favorite Disney Star Wars show now.

The "What Are You Thinking About Right Now?" PIP
He's like a knock-off of Littlefinger, only I thought Aidan Gillen played that much more interestingly.

The "What Are You Thinking About Right Now?" PIP
Daemon is the character archetype that GoT was so good in mining so many good scenes/plots out of. Red Viper of Dorne, Jaime, even Daario Naharis to a certain extent. The Rogueish chaos merchants. Daemon is so boring compared to all of them.

The "What Are You Thinking About Right Now?" PIP
I do think a lot of interest will wane for me once Paddy is gone. This show is otherwise just so devoid of interesting characters. Alicent is boring. Rhaenyra is boring. Daemon is annoying. Cole is a mopey bore. I almost have to hope that the adult versions of Rhaenyra and Alicent kids morph into interesting characters, otherwise I do not know how this show is going to keep the audience's interest.

Doesn't have a way to control the video progress if I open it.

House of the Dragon (2022)
It was okay. I like Olivia Cooke better as Alicent. Blacks vs. Greens is what the two parties are called after the Tourney in honor of Viserys' wedding to Alicent. Named for the colors they wore at that occasion. The only reference to that they included was Alicent's green dress last episode (at Rhaenyra's wedding instead of her own wedding). IIRC, Cole is also to knock Breakbones off his horse in the joust at that tourney, which is meant to be the start of their rivalry. It is very weird they included almost none of that in the show.

Wait, I only realized now that we never got the Greens vs. Blacks tourney. That's odd.

General Celebrity Gossip
That's what happened to him! I had wondered having seen recent pictures how his face has changed so much.

Behati Prinsloo
I'm assuming things are slightly different in the privacy of their own home, they wouldn't really be fighting in front of paparazzi after all.

Definitely the one that sold the best. Yeah definitely saw some Skyrim influence in Skellige portions of Wild Hunt.

When did Mella show off her acne?

Well just the quality of the games itself. Then later on, the strong and active modding community around it, giving the games huge replayibility value. Like Skyrim is nearly eleven years old (!!!) but still has a very active modding community, releasing creative new mods almost daily. A fully modded version barely even looks like the released game any more.

In general the Fallout franchise as well as the Elder Scrolls franchise is both fun to play but also strangely appealing because of its slightly janky quality.

Fallout New Vegas wasn't even that graphically impressive at the time of its release. I would say that wowing you primarily with the beauty of the graphics isn't the main appeal of Bethesda or Obsidian games. And they usually didn't have the kind of teams working on those games to deliver the kind of polish that you can expect from say something like the GTA franchise.

Vanessa Angel
She was actually much younger than I thought when she started doing Weird Science. 28 for the first season. Six months short of her 32nd birthday for the final episode. I would have guessed that she was early thirties when she did the first season. That means she was also super-young at the time she shot her Spies Like Us cameo! Probably only 18 during the time of the shoot (the movie was released in December of 1985 so she would have only turned 19 a month earlier).

Really? I think it is great. Much better than Obi-Wan or Boba Fett.

Ken Levine also seemed to have soured a bit on the industry after that experience. And I think you need an obsessed figurehead like him to even attempt to make something like Bioshock Infinite. His next project appears to be in development hell: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-01-03/bioshock-creator-s-next-game-and-its-narrative-legos-in-turmoil

This might already be my favorite Disney SW show. It maintains the same atmosphere and tone from Rogue One. A lovely ensemble as well. I have very high hopes for this one.

Best TV Show Ever
My two favorite ones are probably Deadwood and Rome in that order.

Yes. The scale of the world feels bigger and also I love time travel narratives. Knights of the Old Republic was great. One of the first truly great single player RPGs I ever played. The sequel had the potential to be even better but LucasArts forced Obsidian to finish the game within an absurdly short time-line. So lots of stuff felt unfinished. But had they been given the time to properly finish it, I think it could have eclipsed even KOTOR.
