  1. In general the Fallout franchise as well as the Elder Scrolls franchise is both fun to play but also strangely appealing because of its slightly janky quality.
  2. Fallout New Vegas wasn't even that graphically impressive at the time of its release. I would say that wowing you primarily with the beauty of the graphics isn't the main appeal of Bethesda or Obsidian games. And they usually didn't have the kind of teams working on those games to deliver the kind of polish that you can expect from say something like the GTA franchise.
  3. She was actually much younger than I thought when she started doing Weird Science. 28 for the first season. Six months short of her 32nd birthday for the final episode. I would have guessed that she was early thirties when she did the first season. That means she was also super-young at the time she shot her Spies Like Us cameo! Probably only 18 during the time of the shoot (the movie was released in December of 1985 so she would have only turned 19 a month earlier).
  4. Really? I think it is great. Much better than Obi-Wan or Boba Fett.
  5. Ken Levine also seemed to have soured a bit on the industry after that experience. And I think you need an obsessed figurehead like him to even attempt to make something like Bioshock Infinite. His next project appears to be in development hell: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-01-03/bioshock-creator-s-next-game-and-its-narrative-legos-in-turmoil
  6. This might already be my favorite Disney SW show. It maintains the same atmosphere and tone from Rogue One. A lovely ensemble as well. I have very high hopes for this one.
  7. My two favorite ones are probably Deadwood and Rome in that order.
  8. Yes. The scale of the world feels bigger and also I love time travel narratives. Knights of the Old Republic was great. One of the first truly great single player RPGs I ever played. The sequel had the potential to be even better but LucasArts forced Obsidian to finish the game within an absurdly short time-line. So lots of stuff felt unfinished. But had they been given the time to properly finish it, I think it could have eclipsed even KOTOR.
  9. No offense to Behati but when she married the dude if you had asked me the odds of him eventually cheating on her, I would have guessed 99.99%. Rock stars/musicians sleep around when they are on the road. Athletes sleep around whenever they play road games. I always assumed girls went into these relationships knowing this stuff.
  10. Grew up primarily knowing her from Weird Science and her small role on Spies Like Us. I wasn't really familiar with her modeling career.
  11. @Enrico_sw Good question. All time is a long time, I have been playing video games for more than thirty years now. I will limit myself to just PC games. In no particular order: Knights of the Old Republic Mass Effect II Dead Space Age of Empires Fallout: New Vegas Honorable mentions: The Witcher III: Wild Hunt, Saints Row 4, Commando's: Behind Enemy Lines, Rainbow Six (original 1998 game), Tomb Raider II, GTA: Vice City, XCOM 2, Wasteland 3, Bioshock Infinite
  12. Jess was so gorgeous!
  13. I am amused at all the people surprised at the news that Adam Levine cheated on Behati. 90% of music/rock stars cheat when they are on the road. There are probably hundreds just like this tiktok girl who decided to kiss & tell who just kept their mouths shut about it. This isn't even just limited to musicians, actors are the same. There are clips out there of RDJ & Jude Law discussing cheating on their girls whilst doing press for one of the Sherlock Holmes films they did together, after being confronted with a cute girl doing their interview.
  14. Ironic that I was really intrigued by Daemon's wife (both the character and the actress) and she got all of five minutes of screentime.
  15. Viserys is the most interesting character. Also the best acting work, it's not easy to make a weak king truly compelling. In general though I feel like the House of the Dragon cast is collectively much weaker than the Game of Thrones cast. Admittedly Game of Thrones got very lucky with some unknowns who turned out to be good actors with great star power.
  16. For all the complaints about the casting, I actually really like this cast. The huge issue is the terrible writing, which seems to get worse with each new episode. Some of the writing for Galadriel was truly awful in episode four.
  17. I think she looked best up until Mulholland Falls. She had already lost a bit of weight by the time she did A Beautiful mind. But her run in the 1990s that includes Career Opportunities, The Rocketeer, Mulholland Falls, ... Arguably she was the most attractive woman working in Hollywood over that stretch.
  18. @Cult Icon You like Liza, right?
  19. Priscilla has gotten a tiny bit thicker again. Good for her, there was a period there where she seemed to have lost quite a bit of weight?
  20. Pretty girl. Would love to see more of her!
  21. If the theory is true that this is their version of Benjen Blackwood, that kid is going to be a bad-ass when he grows up.
  22. There are theories about who this kid might be and whether or not he will return after the time jump. (Most popular theory being that he is their version of young Benjen Blackwood). Favorite scene of the episode. @Cult Icon Apparently Alicent is a much more interesting character once she is played by Olivia Cooke. Several reviewers who have seen more episodes have mentioned this. I agree that the young actress who is currently portraying that character is a bit light-weight and not very interesting.
  23. Thanks! Fantastic shoot. Girl has really been underused by Guess considering how perfect she is for their brand.
  24. Probably has more to do with matching the dub to the lips moving. "Eighty-five" is much shorter than "quatre-vingt-cinq". They probably struggled to match the lip movements up properly to the dub. So they used "soixante-cinq" instead.
  25. I was in my first year of university when Phantom Menace was released. I too was looking forward to it. And let down with the actual film, unfortunately.
