The Disney SW films will not ever be truly good or original because they cannot be allowed to be. Same with the MCU, there is a built-in limit set by the Disney suits. Frankly I think it will turn out to be a very bad thing for the movie industry that Disney now controls such a huge chunk of it, especially after the 21st Century Fox acquisition.

I find the reactions to Dennis Quaid marrying someone nearly forty years younger kind of hypocritical. Self-determination is a big thing and is seen as a progressive boon but this does not extend to people who marry someone with a huge age difference? I wouldn't want to get into such a relationship myself but I wouldn't judge anyone else who does, as long as they are both consenting adults.

The thing that determined much about how I feel about Karlie was her defensiveness when she was asked about her ties to the Kushner clan. Now she is definitely not responsible for her in-laws actions, especially not her father-in-law or brother-in-law. But her reaction suggested that she herself is bothered by it and does not want to be reminded of it.

If she is no longer into it, it's totally the right choice. But I somehow doubt she is done modeling.
