@peroxideblonde Thinks Emmy Rossum was overlooked in the nominations again this year. I felt like Tatiana Maslany should have gotten a nomination again, but since she won last year, I can't really complain. Are there any other actors or shows that should have been nominated?

Maybe you both want Kit and Sophie together and are just projecting? Or not. But really, I understand what you are saying.

As a director and writer, it seems Mr Nolan can't miss.

^^ @Limerlight I'm glad that I feel fairly confident that doesn't describe me with any show I talk about (I rarely talk about any, really). The small amount I have posted here about TV and movies is essentially the totality of my discussions of TV and movies. I'm also glad that I have had little to no experience with people like you described, and I can think of none I speak with in person.

The good news is that it's fewer episodes this season. I try not to talk about it around people who don't care. I know I get tired of hearing about shows other people like but I don't watch.

^^ It should pass Guardians shortly and likely remain #2 In the US Box Office until Star Wars in December. The only other movie that would seem to have a chance to make that much is Justice League.

The creators have said that the show started by separating the characters and now they are coming back together. When I really thought about this, I became more accepting of the idea of fewer episodes per season. There will be little need for scenes or episodes with just one character which have been somewhat common in recent seasons. Basically, I'm saying I'm glad characters are coming back together.

I don't love it, but I started watching a couple of years ago. I think they were hinting that this could happen with what they did with another female character. I don't think it's too surprising, but i get that the real fans of the show may not like it.

Even with the OFC getting the spot, I imagine Australia still thinks they made the right decision. They needed better competition on a regular basis. If only we could get New Zealand to do the same, the OFC could be absorbed into the AFC.

I missed this this when you posted but you're right, it doesn't look like she will get one. It seems like they only want to nominate Macy from that show. About the Emmy's: I have not thoroughly looked at the nominations but the first and most obvious thing I noticed was that Tatiana Maslany was not nominated after winning last year. Apparently, she is suddenly not good anymore.

^^ I would go along with that. That would be a strong confederation. It's funny to me that OFC will start getting an automatic spot. I don't think an OFC team has won a match in the World Cup or Confederations Cup since Australia left for the AFC.
