I was playing at my local music shop, and a guy asked me if I was playing Bucket Head... I just looked at him like he was stupid and said no...but that was becuase I had no clue who Bucket Head was... Everyone will agree he is the shit, and all his licks are extreamly well put together, fluid, faster than a kid gets food on his face, and darker than Allister Crowley's soul. Why you might ask? I just picked up a copy of Kulcha Don's album, It's All About You from work at UMVD. I had never heard of him before but his album really appealed to me. Have any of you heard of him? Have anyone here heard this band? I think they're awesome. They play slow, hypnotizing metal with prog elements. Very melancholic at times... I recommend them to you.

It's been a year since one of the guitar greats was taken from this world. I, for one, was heavily into Pantera. Dimebag was one hell of a guitarist and I got to see him shred back in '96! One of the loudest concerts I've ever been to. Anyways, most people will remember this date because of John Lennon (RIP) but I will remember this day because of Dime. He had more of an impact on my life than Mr. Lennon did. And people shouldn't forget the people that tried to save Dime's life, only to end up as victims of a psychopath's rage. RIP Dime!!
