RBD is a Mexican musical Pop group that gained popularity from Televisa's teenage-oriented telenovela Rebelde. To date, RBD has achieved commercial success with cross-over appeal in non-Spanish speaking countries, most notably in Brazil. RBD has sold over 9.5 million albums worldwide. RBD debuted in December 2004 with the album Rebelde, released by EMI. The main writers for the project were DJ Kafka and Max di Carlo, and their songs proved nearly as popular as the show. The first three singles ("Rebelde", "Solo quédate en silencio" and "Sálvame") were all number one hits in Mexico, with the fourth single, "Un póco de tu amor" reaching number two. A Portuguese language ed…

Not so many know this song, or at least thats what i think . . Take a look (Y) I've counted every single raisin in my cereal bowl, and every dented in the ceiling How many half slices of toast will make how many whole, and how do I escape this feeling ? Some say that I can be just as hard as a rock, but I can be oh so much bolder. I look you in the eye and I'll take you by surprise, and I'll eat this chip off my shoulder I'm so bored I could cry. I'm so happy I could die. Do I really want to learn to fly... Feel like an android livin' in the polaroid just another reject that gets a little seasick. Whose life am I in ? Feels like dejavu don't know how or what …

Sometimes all you need to do to make yourself feel better after a hard day's work is to wind down with a hot cup of java, a crossword, and have a sexy female jazz singer giving you aural. Yes, aural... as in ear f***ing. Also, I'm gonna have to be an elitist in this thread because well... It would be an insult to some of the singers posted in this thread to compare them to the likes of let's say Beyonce, Ashlee Simpson, or Jojo. No rockers, poppers, hip-hoppers, and such allowed unless they are crossover artists. Only singers who could pass a grade 2 theory exam, a grade 6 vocal exam, and can sight read are allowed in this thread. Bonus points if they can sing in Portugue…

Just a little music game. Even the best of artists may have a couple songs that are...questionable . You might even say they're pretty bad. You might even like them because they're bad. They might even be so bad that they're kinda funny, so you really kinda like them Or they might just be plain bad and catchy so you can't stop humming them! Anyway.... Rules: 1. The person above names an artist and you say what you think is their best and worst song that you know of. 2. You can comment on any of the above names, but you have to answer the one directly above , but this is not a haven for bashing artists so if you don't like any of their work, just don't answer …

Her album comes out here in the US on June 24th and you can listen to her on her mypsace at myspace/deltagoodrem. Have a greattttttttt weekend!! Joy Ms UMGD

Vote for the greatest rock anthem. RULES and Such 1. I eliminated songs from the 1950s and prior because those are the songs that laid the foundation of rock music, so I didn't want to run the risk of them not getting the votes that their impact would warrant. 2. I for the most part eliminated a lot of songs from the 80s-now because I wasn't sure whether enough time has passed to tell whether some of them have really stood the test of time and grown to a bigger impact and visibility than their cult following since the focus is songs that go even beyond merely the parameters of die hard rock fans. 3. And BTW, just in case someone is thinking, "hey, such and such …

So, yeah...any fans of trance music? I know it gives a lot of people headaches, but I like it for some reason. Ferry Corsten and Armin van Buuren are both amazing. Also, I've recently heard some of DJ Tiesto's stuff too...not bad at all..

I've had a number of people ask me if I know the song that VS used in their commercials from 2000 thru 2002. VS really needs to go back to playing this kind of music at their shows and in the commerials, it's hell of lot sexier! Yanno this one.. Well last night I was at a goth club and it came to me... So here it is, the full version of it.... Group: Massive Attack - Song: Iertia Creeps Enjoy

I don't know about you guys but I was raised with Montovani and the Boston Philharmonic blasting at full volume around the house. I can probably sing through every part of Berlioz's "Symphony Fantastiq"... Anyway, we need representation from people who actually have skill that's been perfected over years and years of playing... and still are open to new ideas. NHK Symphony Orchestra playing Berlioz - Symphony Fantastiq, 5th Movement If you couldn't tell this in combination with the other 4 movements was about what some dude goes through while high on opium... this was written in 1830. NHK Symphony Orchestra with Jean-Pierr Furlan as Faust and Sir Willard White as Mephist…

Wikipedia A Cappella (Italian: “at the chapel” or Latin: "From the chapel/choir") music is vocal music or singing without instrumental accompaniment, or a piece intended to be performed in this way. A cappella was originally intended to differentiate between Renaissance polyphony and Baroque concertato style. In the 19th century a renewed interest in Renaissance polyphony coupled with an ignorance of the fact that vocal parts were often doubled by instrumentalists led to the term coming to mean unaccompanied vocal music. In modern usage, a cappella often refers to an all-vocal performance of any style, including barbershop, doo wop, and modern pop/rock.

This is a conversation continuing from another thread... I love Canon. My Dad bought me a EOS 650 when I was 8... we found it at a garage sale for $7!!! I totally hear you on the gadget geekiness though... now I'm into audio equipment. Behold... the beast I get to play with every other Sunday One Digidesign Venue Live Audio Mixing Console... one the first ones in Canada... A live show sound guy's wet dream. Ha…
