Yeah, I agree. I wonder if she has to do this for VS, because it sure doesn't seem like she wants to. I don't blame her, though. She's the last of the Angels from a great time during VS and VS isn't anything like it used to be. I wouldn't want to come back to VS in the state that it's in now. I bet she had to do it to fulfil her contract. Are any of the important executives that work for VS now the same ones that were there when Candice was in her prime with VS, like 2010-2013?

Could it simply be a matter of fulfilling her contractual obligations and literally NOTHING more?

 

For instance, maybe she is required by her contract to mention them X amount of times over a given time period or post of them X amount of times so she has to do it BUT there is no requirement for what they post on their account.

 

She therefore is untagging herself since she has a "competing" line of swimwear now and therefore is trying to distance herself as best as she can while still living up to the legal obligations she signed on for.

Me too, i was thinking exactly the same. She must have a minimum of social media promotion to do in her contract with VS, but apart this "necessary evil", she wants to distance herself from a competing swimwear brand as much as possible.
