I love it. I mean, I love Chris too and I've spoken to him on more than one occasion, he's a nice guy, but he needs to hear this from the people who made Adriana as big as she is today, her fans. She needs to step her game up or GTFO and disappear and go live on a farm somewhere out of the public eye with her family that she is so private about. I don't get it. Adriana is one of the biggest names at Marilyn because everyone keeps leaving and going to other agencies, yet she gets the least amount of work. You would fucking think she would be their priority or at least that she would get more work now that their bigger girls/several girls on their board in general jumped ship over there. I can't with the one editorial or cover every 5-7 months if that. She needs some steady work. Consecutive work. I can't with this girl. She should have been a nun.

I quite like that she's not a fame whore. She's a veteran in the business and probably feels content with what she's accomplished. I would love to see her more, but I understand that she wants to live a little and raise her kids. She did work a lot in her 20s.

Chris has Instagram (chrisgny). I encourage everyone to harass and beg him for more Adriana work aside from VS. This is the guy we need to be talking to.

I sent my mini rant on the meeting pic since I had that link RT'd on my Twitter then attempted to paste it on other pics featuring her and this bastard's page is private and it was not like that yesterday:

"Sir, I think I speak for all Adriana fans when I say we want more! More covers, more editorials, more campaigns, etc. We need you to get her off her lazy ass and earn the title "Supermodel" because her peers have left her behind. The name Adriana Lima is one of the most popular in the game today so I don't think it would be THAT hard to get her jobs. Do your damn job and handle OUR business. :)"

I went back like a minute later and it was gone so he must have been waiting on our asses! I started to go back and write that I hope she drops him and Marilyn then hires whoever manages Gisele because they know how to get shit done but I said forget it.

I may take to Twitter and ask Doutzen to talk to Adriana about this. I search her mentions all the time and they aren't as packed down and heavy as Dri and she's on regularly so she'll see it no doubt. Whether she talks to her about it is a different story.

I'm not even sure where to start here, but this type of behavior is why they need to up the internet stalking and harassment policy laws. This type of behavior is unacceptable from a teenager let alone a grown adult. Now I don't know your age, or your background, but harassing someones manager or agent to the point where they feel they need to put their Facebook on private and start deleting tweets is absolutely ridiculous. I don't give a shit how much said model doesn't work, that is between them, and you throwing your two cents in there calling her a lazy bitch is not only rude and disrespectful it's incredibly childish.

You have no idea why she isn't working, or if he is in fact attempting to get her jobs. Just because you as a fan are unhappy with the amount of work she's putting out does not give you the right to turn into a snipping, yappy dog barking at his heels to get him or her moving.

p.s - This is the reason so many people have an abject dislike of Adriana. It's not her, it's because of a lot of her obsessive fans.

While I agree that Irff took it a little far, I don't think there was anything wrong with telling him that we want to see more work from her. That's all myself and TheBombshell had said (and though we are frustrated we didn't take it out in our comments) and it was on a picture where he said he was having a meeting with her which insinuated that maybe she has something coming up, so naturally there were other people who commented too excited and hopeful. He deleted our comments before Irff even commented which I don't know why because TheBombshell had just said she hoped to see more work from her soon and I agreed with them. Again, that's what the picture was about. I have seen fans of other models place their concern to their agents or other people around them and they get an answer. Anyway, I think you took it too seriously because you only saw Irff's comment and you already know how they roll, so you shouldn't be surprised.

Irff, that's the best ranting ever!! Anyways, you folks by now need to know Adriana isn't working because she doesn't want to. She's at a stage in her career where she can do w/e the hell she wants. She's probably going to do 2 or 3 major projects this year -just like she does every year- and that's it. Like someone said there are models in her agency that are working non-stop. So it's not her agent, it's Adriana herself. We all see the kind of work she does when she indeed works. Doesn't that tell you she's selective and works only when she wants to? It sucks but that's the deal

I agree that the harassment or whatever is not a good choice.

However it's a bugger when people use Adriana's fans behavior as an excuse to not like and even be mean towards her. Her fans have nothing to do with her, what she does, and that model that she is. What her fans do and say shouldn't have an affect on how a person really feel about the model, but the actual fans.

You can dislike and joke about the fans all you want but when you want to take it to the point where it affects your perspective of the model, that's annoying and I personally find it immature.

"I'm not going to like this model and give her the least credit and possibly say bad things about her because her fans are crazy" there is almost no connection. So when people make that decesion not to like a model just because of her fans, it's a bad excuse IMO.

But yess adriana is doing this all by choice I think. That's why like i said before in the official thread, you can't sweat it. It's her decesion and you can't make the woman change her state of mind. And knowing adriana she wouldn't take it lightly lol.

I don't see and didn't see anything wrong with what I said. Yes, I did come off a little strong/insulting but I couldn't help it. It was the one opportunity to tell the person that handles her career how I(we) really felt. Maybe that's the problem right now, her other fans like to sugarcoat, "Please, do more work," "We want you to see you on *insert cover name here,*" etc.

I want to see her doing big things and gaining respect before it's too late. I want her to be known as more than a glorified lingerie model when the book is closed. I would at least want to see her grace the cover of Vogue UK, Paris, or Italia. Hell Pamela Anderson recently had a spread in some Vogue I was reading at the dentist so what's holding Adriana back from a spread?

For the record his page was already private before he read and deleted my comment so whatever lightweight cupcake stuff Savanna/TheBombshell sent made him think more fans were coming and he protected it. The only thing I may have done was made him wish the link to the meeting picture wasn't available.

If telling the hard truth and wanting to see someone prosper makes me obsessive or childish so be it.

It's so hard being an Adriana fan when you see people calling her a C-D list model or when her Brazil Vogue came out, "She's been modeling for 10+ years and only has 5 covers" and you can't defend it because it's the truth.

But I finally agree with the rest of you that it's probably her choice and now I feel bad for going at Chris. I'm whining but by the end of the year she'll probably have a Superbowl commercial as well as other major projects.

Chris' Instagram also used to be private period, so it's nothing new. He obviously made it public for the fans and it also had more than one picture of Adriana on there and used hash tags so people could find them. Stay private if you don't want fans commenting.

Expressing you like someone's work and that you would like to see more of them is one thing, but demanding they, (to quote this properly) 'get her off her lazy ass and earn the title supermodel' is excessive and 'to do your job and handle our business' while it may have been meant as tongue in cheek humor coupled with the rest is highly inappropriate.

Chances are the guy is tired of hearing about it, and as we know absolutely nothing about what jobs she's been offered if any, or if she is in fact turning them down or has simply requested that she do minimal work there is absolutely no reason to get on his or her case.
