I just watched it again and it was good for me. I could be better but it did it for me. Idk what y'all want because the show is one that's on tv so they can't do all we want them to... plus it at least still gets more then 6 million viewers, more  than the shows you keep comparing them to.

Even though we put the 2005 show on a pedestal I really feel like it would have flopped in this day and age. Reason being, the show would have already being repetitive by now and their wasn't any big focus on artist and the girls having fun on the fun way, which believe it or not helps.

 

I think the segments were cute. Jo's was somewhat original. I liked the Paris one too. Even the one of them talking about how far the girls have come.

And there's another thing, I predicted that you guys would complain about the show being rushed. It feels that way every year before you give it a second watch. When will you people learn?  

It's not about going back to 2005. Of course it should not be same, a show must evolve. To make the show about the artist is a matter of opinion. The show could still be great or even better than '05 without making it a concert show, but putting it more in true fashion show format, and then the girls can still have fun. I loved how they worked with the stage, like in 2012 with Diamonds segment they projected French castles on the background. That is really creative how they worked with the stage, but making it into a pop concert is not a good development IMO.

@Ludivine08That was her first show, I remember everyone going crazy trying to find out who the girl is. And that moment the star was born.

I really like Carmen Kass outfit BTW, it is also iconic and she looked gorgeous! 

Yes I remember that, I was the same. I was like o_o who is that, who just walked by. 

The outfit of Carmen is very classic, stylish, it represents everything I think about when I think lingerie. 

The Shoes this year were TACKY. I feel like they used the same boring thigh high boot with a stocking for almost every outfit they showed. 

 

 

I want Todd Thomas to make a returm back to VS so bad. The Outfits in this year's show were hideous, poorly constructed,  and lacked creativity. 

All of the outfits look even almost Thanksgivingish. The designs this year looked like a Jewish Grandma's living room. I NEVER want to see Thigh high boots mashed with high knit stockings ever again  as long as I live. 

I finally rewatched the show and paid more attention this time and my thoughts: 

Spoiler cause it's long. 

TRA 

- Elsa did really well opening considering Bill. I really hope she gets another opening eventually with a better outfit. 

- Taylor looked like she was trying to land a plane with her arms bouncing and those huge sleeves. 

- Martha has crazy eyes.  

- Adriana, Alessandra, Jas, Cindy were all great for me.

 

MR 

- Jo's opening was weak imo but I think it the music really hindered her. I think the music was too slow and hindered all the girls except maybe Lily. 

- Loved Kelly and Sara in this segment. Also enjoyed Lily, Megan, and Leomie. 

 

PINK

- Highest energy section for sure. I think Bruno was a perfect fit for Pink. The girls looked like they were having a blast. 

- Zuri and Rachel were lacklustre.

- Loved Alanna's energy and Dilone's closing. 

- Grace was beautiful. Wasn't crazy impressed by her opening though. 

 

SA

- Highlights were Adriana's opening, Elsa's wink at Abel and Ming's finger guns.  

- Thought Abel was a good fit for this segment too. Interacted with the models but didn't interfere. 

- Sara's closing was great and her wings in motion were fantastic. 

- Irina's pregnancy boobs tho. 

 

DA

- I can't stand Gaga. Ruined this segment for me tbh. 

- There was definitely something off with Taylor. She looked stunning but low energy and she looked irritated in the backstage shots. 

- Martha's crazy eyes returned. 

- I liked Gigi, Sui, Lais, and Kate. 

- Honestly, wtf Gaga. That bit with the wings. 

- Dead eyes Nick Cannon watching Gaga walk was me. 

 

BNA

- Stella's opening surprised me! I liked it a lot. 

- Jas looked so incredibly beautiful with the FB. I'm a little bummed she didn't get more attention with it. 

- Lily's closing was a non event. 

- Still bothered how ill fitting Jo's outfit was. 

- I liked Romee, Georgia, Maria, 

- Again, liked Bruno for this. The energy for the song was good. 

 

Segments

- Jo's Angel segment should have been about Jas and the FB imo. 

- Lily D needs to go. 

- The pairings of girls were terrible. Jasmine looked bored listening to Sara speak, and there was a point when Martha was talking that Jo was just staring at her with this frozen smile that looked so forced. 

- I liked the hair and make up this year.

Yeah, shouldn't have put them together. Had a bit of hard time differentiating them at first. 

Moving the show to HBO wouldn't be that bad idea because it would be edited better and have longer run time. The only restriction is it's on a paid network and wouldn't be as accessible. HBO would make the best opening ever for the show, lol.

I think the show should move to ABC or NBC, those are two major networks and it'll improve the ratings for sure! Also instead of showing it in the start of the week, it should be Thursday night instead

This opening editing was terrible! Bill stole the show with his large head  raised. All the girls heads are cut off halfway and moving back and forth makes me dizzy
