This is one of their biggest marketing campaigns each year so of course they want you to buy what they show. The other elements are supposed to fulfill the fantasy, wings, jewelry, shoes etc.

They literally have a whole marketing campaign that's called "Shop the Show" or something, and they feature the pieces used in the show in store.

They have done this in the past? I remember seeing in some stores pieces of the show,  but after airing the show on TV.

 

I'm not doing a big deal about this, just i was expecting something more shocking or elaborate than collection lingerie in the angels outfits. BTW, it's obviously a great marketing move towards the collection itself.

Ale's look seems beautiful ! But I need to see it full because we never know with VS and their awful boots

mmm the problem is not the fact that they are using the lingerie, it's actually that by doing that some outfits results are quite plain (i feeling im not explaining myself property, sorry about bad english ) like adriana's firework last years, or the repetitive use of same panties in 2014 show. Is like (my thoughts) they don't put too much effort in some combinations or outfits, and when this happens to the angels outfits, i feel like its kind of disappointing.

Any other snapchats I should add? MUA/Stylists?

I was actually wondering if people preferred it, if we could have a separate thread for all the social media pictures than the press photos? If it's too much hassle it's fine.

I'm sentimental watching the 2003 show. Miss when the main audience were adult men and not early teenage girls... 

 

With that said I don't think VSFS would work with that audience target now when the internet is flooded with porn and girls in lingerie, but it's just sad

@Polqu Yes, to me it’s distracting to see basic lingerie pieces on the girls such as Alessandra and Adriana. The lingerie should be more disguised as part of an elaborate costume or be part of a cohesive look.

 

VS wants to say it’s a couture show but seeing regular underwear on the girls takes away from it.

Love the colours of Ale's look. Don't think she's opening though as looking at the board the outfit looks different.

The original concept of Victoria’s Secret was having lingerie stores that wouldn’t intimidate men who want to shop for lingerie for their partner.

 

But I would say that the show in 2003 was made with the female audience in mind, not male.

^This!!! I'm just not feeling all that couture, handmade and luxury/sophisticated vibes they wanna sell with de making-of videos or they speeches if the outfits ended being just regular lingerie with random jewellery or wings.

they can change , last year outifit elsa was the first on board but it's beahti who opended again

Yeah the outfit can change but the girl most likely doesn't. I'm sure Behati was always going to open. And if it's Elsa this year then it'll be Elsa.

Based on Iza's last video on instagram story, I guess she got only one outfit...
