So I'm starting to think regular show girls like Toni, Cara, Liu and Joan might be walking for Chanel instead...they all walked his Paris show in September, and are all usual regulars at his shows. Plus all these girls have more loyalty to high fashion as opposed to VS.

 

That being said I sure hope not, because I always love to see these girls walking for VS

What do you guys think about the performers? Who do you think is gonna be there?

 

I would love some british artists like Ellie Goulding or Ed Sheeran. I think there's also a little bit of hype for Little Mix, maybe for PINK.

Hmmm I don't think so? But I'm not sure. 

 

But all those girls have been Chanel regulars since they have started modeling. With Toni, I know Karl was one of the first to bring her to the spotlight and support her, etc. 

 

That being said if its not a very important show, I"m not sure its as important to Karl or the models it they are there or not. But so far these models have a sort of loyalty to Karl than to VS. 

 

But I sure hope not

Happy that Jac is walking. She should be in other segments and I think she will. No more ripped condom skirts for Jac please VS. I knew Martha is in. It's fairly obvious. And Ieva is great. She's always good in Pink but would be nice for her to get something else too.

Can't believe we've heard nothing about Lily, Toni, Joan, Constance, Sui etc but it's starting to look like a lot of the regulars won't be in the show. I can handle not seeing Magdalena, Izabel, Maryna being there.

Arabian Nights or Vegas Showgirls since they are doing the FB event in Vegas?

I typed Vegas Showgirl costume in Google and:

Haha nice one Sav. I think I would prefer a showgirls theme. I always thought that would be a good idea. They can do those big feathery wings that they attach to the girls arms instead of on their backs. Very burlesque. I love that idea. And makes sense to send the girls to Vegas with the fantasy bras. An Arabian theme would be great but I don't know if VS will risk it. What with all the press in regards to world issues which we don't need to discuss here. I doubt they would get attacked by anyone but you know everything has to be super PC these days.

Where's Ieva confirmation? I don't see anything on her instagram unless she deleted it.

This isn't about how big or small the Chanel show is. Karl ain't stupid, he planned his show knowing the VSFS was already booked and done for that date, months in advance. This is basically the time for some of the girls to show loyalty to Chanel or go with VS and in the long term it's a smart choice to go with Chanel, also remember that some of the models are actually close friends with Karl and they see Ed/Monica/VS people what ... Two or three times a year before the show?
