I actually find Samantha fairly attractive in an all-American, someday she's going to be a wealthy suburban soccer mom but like the "Stacey's-mom" that everybody wants to hang out at her kids' house and go in their pool just to see her in a bikini kind of way. There's nothing particularly exotic or mesmerizing or memorable about her look but there's also nothing dreadfully ugly about it either. I'm no expert on boobs or boob jobs, but I will say that the nipple placement on her boobs is really weird and makes me sort of uncomfortable, natural or not.

 

The thing that irritates me the most about her is her voice. I'm surprised nobody has talked about that yet.

I can't understand how anyone could think Samantha Hoopes' breasts are real. If a girl takes her bra off and her breasts stay in exactly the same pushed up shape then they are not real. You don't have to be a plastic surgeon to figure that one out. I, personally, don't like SI using models that have had plastic surgery, but I can overlook well done implants in some cases. Kate Bock's job was not terrible (not great either), but Samantha's is just not good at all. I just find it very unfortunate.

Still shocked to see Marloes at ~12% and Lauren at ~1%. Like Claudia said earlier, it looks like they're setting up for Samantha to win, but they make it seem legit by keeping Sam and Emily (arguably the most recognizable rookie) in a neck-to-neck battle.

Anne V: 7/10 Stunning girl and body. I didn’t like the desert location but she worked it to the best of her ability. She definitely deserves the cover next year.

 

Ariel: 4/10 She looks cute but not sexy. Is it me or does her photos look exactly like last year? Come on, SI, I want to see this girl pose half naked at the beach for heaven's sake.

 

 

Bregje: 4/10 My poor Bregje   Her body looks amazing, but the make up and her lack of a smile ruined it. She’s too edgy and Im usually a fan of hers because of that.

 

Chanel: 7/10 I though she was going to be terrible but she proved me wrong. She was actually pretty good.

 

 

Chrissy: 5/10 No matter how much she arches her back, she still lack an ass. Her poses are nice but she needs to smile a little less.

 

Cris: 9/10 Very beautiful    Her hair, body, and make up looks amazing. I like the location they chose for her because it brings out her tan (if that makes sense).

 

Emily D: 3/10 Her stunning face saved her because the photos were kind of boring.

 

Emily R: 5/10 She looks like an ostrich, a very pretty one…… Anyways I’m shock, because I thought she would be one of the best but nope. Some of her pictures are good the others are meh.

Gigi: 0/10  Not SI material. Her photos looks like something I can find from seventeen magazine.

 

Hannah D: 6/10 Not as good as last year. Luckily she’s still pretty.

 

Hannah F: 6/10 They should’ve made her wore skimpier outfits and she’d been alright. Her body paint photos looks good.

 

Irina: 7/10 Much much better than the past 2 years. Some of her photos are a knock-out but others are ok. Everyone knows I love me some Irina but she didn’t really bring anything new this year.

 

Jessica: 5/10 She’s beautiful but she was a let down this year.

 

Kate B: 8/10 With her looks she belongs at the beach. Some of her photos are good others are amazing, though. 

 

Kate U: 7/10 Very pretty girl with big breast but she’s just like Irina, she brought nothing new.

 

Lauren: 6/10 She reminds of Alyssa Miller facially. Her beach photos are good. She’s ok I guess.

 

Lily: 9/10 Probably the best rookie this year   There isn’t one bad photo of her.

 

Marloes: 3/10 at first I thought she were Anne V. There were some photos that are good but the others are alright. She’s doesn’t do much for me.

 

Natasha: 4/10 Meh at best. They seemed lazy with her photos this year. Shame on you, SI, for downgrading this beautiful model.

Idk, I find the "all natural" debate kind of sad. You're looking at girls photoshopped to hell and back, pampered, lipoed, lasered, dyed hair, veneers, and covered in makeup. What is 'natural' anymore? I understand that plastic surgery is a little more extreme, but at the same time I get the same people who complain about people looking 'fake' are often the same ones who will s*** on a girl who wears a 34A or who has 'too thick of a waist' after having kids. The thing is, all of these girls have some aspect of them that is not 'natural.' I'm not going to pretend I've never been guilty of this and I'm not trying to get on a high horse or anything, but I sometimes I wonder why, why in such a superficial industry, that so many people think plastic surgery is the tipping point LOL.

I know that. I mean really it's no huge deal for the girl in the modeling world. It's not like it's gonna take her career to the next level. If she has that star quality yes but I don't think she has '"it".
