1600x1200 max,for attachment, right?,then I'll be back into NOT using this function alot.It would take time to upload then we'll find the pics resized. Is this permanent or temporary?

I am not sure is permanent or temporary. I think it was set up that way to resolve the issue of the board loading too slow ;)

That was a default setting that overwrote our old settings. I have removed the limit. Can you please try again? It should not be resized (we love HQ at BZ :chicken:)

Maybe that's why it's faster now. It's ok as long as its for my lovely Bz's sake. ;)

btw I'm happy that you and frenchkiki had your avatars back, both are of my favs avis. :chicken:

No since thumnails are generated for all images regardless of size it shouldnt affect performance. I have removed the limit. Please test and let us know, thanks!

I also like HQS ,that's why I'm concerned about this. ;)

I tested now in one of my recent attachments, the original image size I uploaded was 2592x3888

now it's still resized to 1067x1600

here's the resized pic

^ Try this. Logout, reload (or restart ur browser), and log back in. Then try uploading again and see if the issue got resolved. If not then I will go back to kicking it a few more times until it behaves :chicken:

It seems that the recent forum change messed up some of the smilies in already-exisitng posts. Also, you can't see the smilie itself, just a word.

For example, there's a post where I remember putting the "unsure" smilie, but it came out as the word "drool".

Why did the gender on my profile page change from "male" to "not telling"? Even though when I click to edit my profile, it still says "male" ;)

It was some glitch. I took a look at it and it should be ok now. If not let me know and I will try something else :p

Yup, it's fixed. Thanks PC :chicken:

I did

http://www.bellazon.com/main/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=1581024

http://www.bellazon.com/main/topic/43515-65th-cannes-film-festival/page__st__240 post 252,Asia Argento.

and the result is

Wonderful

the original size of the pic 1864x3000,is uploaded and displayed,no resizing.

another new thing, the attached thumbnails are bigger.they always used to be small.

Thanx PC :chicken:

Yeah, I mentioned this earlier, but didn't get a reply ;) I went and edited some of my posts and re-entered the smiley (if you right click on the box with the text, it'll tell you what the original smiley was), but obviously this is a cumbersome task, especially for those with a large number of posts. :chicken:

Some of the smilies did not transfer from the old board. We will fix this issue soon ;)

why those pics displays different (larger, and not thumbs) than the previos posted ones? :chicken:

I hope this answers your question. On the old board's system, attachment thumbnailing and image embedding were two separate things. The current system combined the two, which is why the "thumbnails" of attachments are at 600 px max.

Hallelujah!!! ;) :p

It seems many of the system options only applies to anything after a change/update has occurred--it is not retroactive ;)

Hmm not sure why the attachment thumbnails are so large now :chicken: it should be resized to 150x150 at most according to the settings. I will need to look into it, right now its a bit too big (heavy on bandwidth). Anyways these are minor issues. As long as you can upload full HQ pictures without it reducing them, then all is good in the world.

The issue was I setup the board under a different URL while all the posts were migrating/testing and then i switched it back to www.bellazon.com so it broke the emotions among other things. I just need to regenerate posts, its fairly simple to do it just takes a while. I would like to do it when we get most of the other issues worked out as it also affects thumbnails and what not. You dont have to do anything to fix it. I will fix them for you :chicken:

OK that bug is fixed. I specified a max size of 10,000 x 10,000 and now the thumbnails generate appropriately.

^ It only resizes to 150 x 150 when members don't click on "add to post". When a member clicks on "add to post" it processes it as an embedded image :p

Maybe it is glitch I%20dont%20know.gif I will let you figure it out :chicken:

EDIT: Nevermind. Thank you for fixing it ;)

Good to hear that you can fix the emoticons issue. I noticed some of the hearts icons are now this: :p

Haha. :chicken:

Also when starting a new topic, why instead of having sub headings do we have "word tags"? ;)
