December 3, 20159 yr Oh interesting! Hope there's more of it. Thanks Laura! And I forgot about this one: I guess she shoot for VS recently
December 8, 20159 yr HOW VITA SIDORKINA GOT READY FOR HER FIRST VICTORIA'S SECRET FASHION SHOW (By HARPER'S BAZAAR) After working with Victoria's Secret on their lingerie and swim catalogs for over a year, Vita Sidorkina finally landed a coveted spot on the VS Fashion Show runway this year. When the Russian model's agents at The Society Management surprised her with the good news, she understandably broke down into tears, as captured on Instagram. This was a moment to be documented every step of the way, as she finally landed her dream gig, and the model did just that with photographer pal Kat Irlin. From last minute workouts to her favorite beauty products, the VS Rookie shared her big day with BAZAAR. Catch Sidorkina in the lingerie extravaganza tomorrow at 10pm on CBS. Needless to say, I was pretty excited for the day of the show. I couldn't sleep the entire night-no matter how hard I was tried. I planned out my outfit from the night before as I knew I wouldn't have much time the day of. I woke up around 6:30 AM to go for a quick workout. After my workout, I did my usual beauty routine— I love KORA Organics, especially the rose face mist and body cream. I had breakfast at home, yogurt with mixed berries and coffee, to give me energy. In my bag to head to the show I brought my Polaroid camera to capture every moment, notebook, and avocado for a snack. I listened to the song that I'd be walking to in the show. Music always helps to feel the moment. When we arrive backstage we were given the famous Victoria's Secret pink robes. Selfie time with Bridget Malcom and Megan Puleri. The day before the show, I was chosen as a makeup and hair model, so they could test out the look for show on me...so on the day of the show my picture was as an example for hair and make up. We spent most of the day in hair/makeup and talking to press. With Ed Razek before the show! We went straight from the Armory to the after-party at Tao, but I had a shoot the next day so I didn't stay out too late.

Author fails to link the aesthetic to the necessity of promoting the fitness and lingerie lines. She went overboard describing the workout/diet stuff; it is not the Olympics. It is an image that is promoted. They just eat modestly and exercise a lot to maintain those figures- simple as that. Those physiques are not that of a real athlete with real strength & skill- they are distinctly VS.

The article might be as good as trash, but I was more intrigued by some of the Verbatim quotes it contained
