happy all pages are back on this threat, and now we have the same story like taylor hill?? why does she block her fans when they are right?

Oh my God she did say it then she didn't even apologize.  Lawd this is why I only support woman of color. Waisted 3 years supporting her because I wanted to give the Portuguese girl a chance.  Adriana Lima is once again the only white woman I support ( but both of her parents are half black so she barely counts )

But if she was just singing along to a hip-hop song or something.....is this really an issue?

It isn't to me. Mimicking lyrics is hardly racist....

* Cough Cough * Privileged white girl alert

If you're not black, don't say it. End of.

Yes, she didn't mean anything by it, and it probably just slipped out, but it shouldn't be a word that just slips out of your mouth to begin with, and people can be rightfully offended by her using it.

Well now I'm offended you called me a girl. lolol

But really. Singing along to rap/hip-hop songs is racist?

Reverse racism might not exist but prejudice statements do. Probably best not to bring skin color argument into this thread.

She offended people. She should apologize. Rap music is so saturated with the n word (the YG song has it 100+ times in 4 minutes) that it's probably safest to just not touch that, especially if you're recording it.

Saying the N word period is disgusting.  Black people took that word and tried to turn it around which I think they should have never done because now we live in a generation where everyone is too lazy to build up there own culture with the times so they copy black people and repeat everything we say or do in this current 2010's generation. Slang words,  music,  hairstyles. White people do not have to say the n word at all,  but because black people do it they feel privileged to say it too. I hate hearing the word all together.   This generation is childish

i'm disappointet how she handled it,she should apolgize instead of playing it down, even she didn't mean it in a bad way, she offended people and blocking her fans who try to correct her is wrong. she has fans of different colors and reacting like this makes it just worse

I agree. She made a stupid mistake and then compounded the problem by not owning it to begin with.

(Still don't think she's a racist though)

She is racist though she knows where the turn around for that word came from everyone who went to school does. I don't care if she was singing a rap song that word is disgusting. If she really even gave a shit about black people or how they felt about it she would apologize and she probably will apologize in the future,  but only to save her career . Instead of trying to look at it from our view point she's blocking her own fans which shows she feels entitled to say it. Not every black person says that word so why does she feel like she shouldn't have to apologize when her own fans tell her she's wrong shows who she really is. She's from a country that has a lot of Afro Latino's she should know better.

Sara and her friends were singing random songs and she sang the n word. Is It ok? No. Did she meant to offend people? No. The thing Is that she instantly got tweets calling her racist whore/ ugly racist bitch/ anorexic racist bitch... You know? It's hard to apologize for something when you're being attacked like that. Why can't people educate others politely? IMO, that's the only way to do It. However, she did instantly apologized  "@sarasampaio:  I got caught up in the song and my intention was not to offend anyone".

Personally, I don't see how can this situation be compared to what Taylor and her boyfriend did but whatever I guess.

School also teaches the proper definition of words.

rac·ism

 (rā′sĭz′əm)

n.

1. The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to others.

2. Discrimination or prejudice based on race.

is Sara a person that had a lapse in judgement? Absolutely. Is she a person whom is racist? Absolutely Not.

+1. That word should just be banned. Hearing it everywhere makes white people think it's okay to can use it too.

I think she handled it the wrong way and she should apologize.

Oh I see you're one of those people who think in order to be racist you have to say the n word to a black persons face and put a burning cross in there front yard. *rolls eyes

(Long Read)

My point is if you know that there is a dark meaning behind that word then why would you want to say it period. Yes a lot of ignorants think it's cute to rap along to it,  but if you truly  cared about the meaning behind that word you wouldn't even think to say it depise what everyone else is doing. Then when people point out that it's ignorant  you block several of them even fan accounts. So you know the dark history behind that word,  people tell you not to say it because of it then you block them. That shows entitlement because you know that word has a history of evil  and even though people are telling you not to say it you tell them to shut up and block them because depise of the history you feel like it's not a big deal to sing a racial slur.

" Why the hell can I not sing a racial slur that I know the meaning behind of ?  Everyone else does it even though I don't have too. "

Oh and I'm not commenting for the rest of day anymore. Bye

There was no ill-intent. Hatred towards a race didn't fuel her to say the word. She sang along to a freaking song. That's the only point I'm trying to make.

Hopefully someone has some Sara pictures to post soon.....
