Isabeli stopped doing shows because she got nothing out of it. Most of the older models who had walked had very little to gain from doing VS after awhile. They already had established careers, why do the show if you don't have to? A lot of older models looked at VS as a potential platform to help propel their careers, nothing more nothing less.

 

Bianca Balti hasn't walked, not because she wasn't chosen to walk, but because VS refused to come up to her asking price.  

 

Clauds would know more about the contract, but at least to my knowledge Isabeli was never asked to be an angel, but Ana was and refused it because she wanted to be the face of JLo's brand (apparently she thought it was going to be a bigger thing then it was)

 

There is a lot of shit behind the scenes with VS and the new Angels that I cant get into, but trust me when I say a group of models who used to walk for VS have some issues with a couple members of the current angel lineup.

Thank you for your answer! I appreciate it. I guess, like any company, it’s all more intricate than it seems... (I can’t even imagine the politics at maybelline!). Sounds like Stella ain’t very nice though :-(. 

 

I also guess thats that’s why the models aren’t as eager to do VS as in the boughties when it helped with name recognition.

Lais and Sara? Lais because her name is in one of the confessionals and she unfollowed Taylor. Sara because of some vague rumours about drama plus her own behaviour on social media indicates that she can be difficult.

100% - if people knew what happened between Irina and the other model I'm fairly sure people would look at this girl and stare. If I was Irina I would of been beyond fucking pissed, the model ruined a very special moment for her, and that's something Irina can never get back.

 

I spoke to one of the die hard fans of said model and all they did was justify the behavior, and ignore the issues..... That's when get stopped talking about said model with people.

 

And no, Lais isn't part of the shit list.

Stella is actually very nice, she's just introverted and does her own thing. She's not over the top happy go lucky, but she's very nice, chill, laid back.  Elsa is the same way. Professional, sweet but can come across as a bit reserved. Both models just do their own thing. They're basically the complete opposite of Jo, which isn't a bad thing (not saying Jo is bad, she's just very extroverted  which makes a lot of introverted people want to bang their face into the wall.. YAY SMILES HAPPY)

I'm curious @Prettyphile what your opinion of Martha is?  If you've met her or anything, that is.   She's always struck me as pretty down to earth and seems nice enough in interviews and the like. If you can answer, if not, it's all good!

Martha is beyond cool. She's very honest, very open, and willing to talk, she hasn't let the fame get to her head at all. Deep down she's just a southern girl at heart and I don't see anything changing just because she's a model. I wouldn't mind hanging out with her and doing shots tbh. Also she enjoys the HQ pictures of herself

That's what I always assumed, so I'm glad to hear it's the real deal! She seems so laid back and as you said, a Southern girl at heart. Glad to hear she's as sweet as she's always seemed to me.  Lol I love the picture thing. Too funny

The repeat behaviour with this model. You’d think she’d be smart enough to stop burning bridges.

She's just not a nice person, or very smart at that, and I for one cannot see any justification for her actions thus far. I wish we could talk about her openly, however could you imagine the shit storm that would brew as a result? We would be public enemy #1, and I'm 100% sure the model would go on a tirade of screeching on social media, which would be OMEGALUL, but still, it would be so bad.

The thing about #her is that she never see the wrong in her doings. I used to say "maybe she's just stubborn and she will eventually see the light" because I think there's always room to grow as individuals but no, she stayed the same. I think I said this before but... She's going down to Miranda's route.

Since you mentioned Jo, is she somehow involved? She seems so beyond sweet, so it would kinda sting to know she's involved... I think I know who the other might be, judging from what you've said...
