Not to mention Kendall isn't exactly the easiest girl to work with ever, she arrived late to DvF, where they ended up delaying the show just so she can walk in it. Gigi was a pretty popular name last year but that doesn't automatically give her the free pass to walk in the show.

Does anyone know why Karolina fell out of favor with VS or decided to quit? I don't know the story. She and Gisele were like the A team from 2002-2006 with Tyra and Heidi being the vets and Ale and Adri being the new girls. Was there no room to market her after her partner quit?

Nah. I feel like she decided to quit on her own. Her contract ended in early 2008 didn't it? And she still walked the 2008 show and she was even interviewed and given screen time from what I recall (though something happened with one of her outfits if I remember). 

 

Karolina was my fave ex angel. We're both the same height (5'11) and have green eyes. Plus, on a height related note, we both know someone who claimed to be 5'11 but turned out to be a lie. . 

 

 

She was an angel until 2009 just like Selita. Izabel's contract ended in 2008 which is why she wasn't in the intro. Are you talking about Gisele? I always thought Gisele was 5'11 because she's taller than Adriana. I always figured Karolina was just 6'0. 

 

Gisele can't be 5'11.. did you see her next to Karlie? I saw a article that described Gisele as 5'9.5. And someone said an agency described her as 5'10.5. I've seen some pics in similar heels and Gisele only looks slightly taller or just as tall as Adriana. I know Karolina is only 5'11 because she's shorter than Toni Garrn who says she's actually 6 ft makes sense if you look at her with Karlie Kloss. (Height somewhat fascinates me, especially with models if you're wondering why I seem to know all this..).

 

Ah and okay. So she was an angel for 4 years not 3 that I always thought she was cause she was signed on in 2005? I guess maybe if her body didn't eff up she could've renewed her contract if she was happy with VS.. 

Not to mention, you get Kendull, you get the whole family package that comes with her, which would pretty much take the spotlight out of the entire show.

I think Gigi has a much better shot of walking than Kendall. Tbh I don't think Kendall has much interest in walking for VS at this point whereas I could see Gigi still wanting to even though she hasn't shot for them in months. There's pros and cons for her so I won't be surprised either way.

On the topic of Kendall, has she shown any interest whatsoever of being associated with VS? 

 

And I could care less about Gigi or Bella walking. I can always pause my tv, wait a couple seconds and skip to the next model whose walking.. .

Kendall was in LA indeed. Gigi went to the castings, there Is a picture of her and Sara and she appears on the casting video.

Kendall's said many times that working with Victoria's Secret is her dream or whatever and that got put into all the newspapers, and even the Angels had to answer questions on what they thought of Kendall. But remember, she "rejected" going to the VSFS to walk the Chanel show

VS certainly needs to be strict with Kendall if she walked their show- strictly no special treatment of numerous front row tickets and VS would never allow their show to be featured on the kardashian program, who knows what might air and may be misleading for the VS brand image.

Kendall has a instagram followers of 37 million which is more than all existing 15 angels combined,  While Adriana has 5.4m, Candice has 6.1m

The statistics alone can get her a spot in the VS show, and maybe 80 percent of bellazon people can't stand the kardashians but obviously not social media.

 

Just want to warn Ed not to associate VS brand to their reality show, you just never know what will air and may be controversial.

An example is kylie bisutti in 2009, heavily featured in the show but was a ticking time bomb, ended up generating bad press for VS big time.
