    I like Ricky a lot but the only reason why he is able to just say and do as he pleases is the fuck you money he made off "The Office". Mostly the American version but also the other versions around the world he is still getting royalties for. He could be blacklisted for the rest of his life and he would be more than fine financially.

     

    Most (though not all) Hollywood stars aren't that well-off.

    IIRC, Willow started out as something of a LotR rip-off after Lucas & co couldn't secure the rights from the Tolkien estate to do the real thing.

     

    Doesn't seem the most deep IP to base an entire series on.

     

    Having said that, always loved Madmartigan as a kid.

    Same thing with Star Wars starting out as Flash Gordon.

     

    Lucas always planned for Willow to be a trilogy, but back then and up until recently Val Kilmer didn't do sequels.

     

    I'm a Val Kilmer fan.
